Bought this to provide some shade in the heatwave and very pleased with my purchase. It’s the right width, seems robustly made and has a good pulley system for getting the parasol into place. It provides good shade. No cover and you have to buy your own stand

Good quality product.
We were looking for a big umbrella which didn’t need a table and didn’t have a cantilever support (lack of space). This umbrella is larger than most, at 2.7m, but fits in the usual stand. It is quite a substantial item but is steady and just what we needed. Not cheap, but worth the extra in my opinion.

Love it! For the price its a great parasol!! Other reviews mention the mechanism for staying open, its a pull string with a pin which is standard for a lot of these, i haven't found it an issue at all. Would definitely recommend…. It looks lovely in our garden.

The umbrella does not extend to the last hole in the pole. The material is too small. Measures 230 across when pushed up not 270. I’m going to Argos to look at another one to establish if this is just a one off.
