About this product
The Karcher SC 1 Upright Steam Mop is ready to go in just 30 seconds, which is proper quick when you need to tackle sealed hard floors. It works across wood, tile and laminate, and the super-heated steam shifts dirt without any chemicals at all, just tap water. The self-standing design means you can leave it upright mid-clean without propping it up, and the continuous steam keeps things moving along nicely.
The removable 0.2l water tank refills while you go, so you're not waiting around for it to cool down. It's trigger-activated, which gives you control over when the steam releases, and there's overheat protection built in. The 5m cord gives you decent reach without constantly unplugging, and it comes with 2 universal floor cloths plus a descaling cartridge to keep limescale from building up inside. It's lightweight and straightforward to use, and Karcher recommends sticking to water only, which is handy if you've got kids or pets around.

I have had this product 2 weeks now and used several times now, whilst the head is a little bulky, it does a great job, however i in live maisonette and not a mansion and i cannot do one room with out having to move the plug to complete the job, very frustrating, when my hoover takes me the whole way around my home. Monday clean joy
So much better than the Beldray mops. This has a weighty head which makes it easy to push across the floor. Easy to fill the container, good head of steam and easy to remove cleaning pad. I am very happy with my new mop and now enjoy my Monday morning clean.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Karcher SC 1 Upright Steam Mop: with the universal floor cloths the SC 1 can be used on sealed Vinyl flooring.

The Karcher SC 1 Upright Steam Mop is intended for use for cleaning level hard floors (e.g stone floors, tiles, PVC floors, as
well as sealed wooden floors such as parquet and laminate) that can withstand the high temperature, pressure and moisture of the device. Do not clean any water-sensitive coverings such as untreated cork floors (moisture can penetrate and damage the floor).
Cleaning agents are not required.
Time to dry is dependent on multiple factors such as room temperature, humidity and amount used.
