Dryer too hot and runs too long
Waited years for my old machine to break down so I could have a washer dryer, bought this LG machine a week ago & I hate it, doesn't matter what programme you use the drying time seems to be 1 hour 20 min, 3 times Ive had to stop the dryer mid cycle because I could smell items scourching. No way can you take items out, fold & put away they come out so dry they're all crumpled, I don't iron unless I absolutely have to but now having to iron everything. The driers wrecked 3 of my sofa throws just washed my matress & pillow protectors they've come out all shriveled. Only had this machine for 1 week but can't wait to get rid of this apliance and go back to my old faithfull make that Ive used for 50 odd years, I'll be drying my clothes the good old fashioned way on a clothes airer

Machine in a hurry!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed a machine quite quickly so after some brief research plumpt for this one. There is plenty of choice of programmes especially if you download the app. I was relieved that the programmes are a reasonable length of time, however disappointed that you can't seem to set it for a half load. Despite the machine weighing the wash load it still takes as long as it would a full load, not sure why. It dries effectively and is pretty quiet, i like that when it's finished will play a little tune only after the door has unlocked, so you don't have to hang around waiting to empty. Overall a good purchase.

Lg washing machine
Had the washing machine a few weeks now. Everything seems to be running ok. Spin is reasonable quiet. Programs easy to understand tend to use the mixed load 1 1/2 hour program more than anything. Lots of dings and bings noises when switching on and turning off which could probably do without. I hope it lasts as long as my old LG.

It’s a great all-round washing machine that delivers strong performance and is packed with useful features. The 9 kg drum is ideal for family loads, and the 1400 rpm spin leaves clothes much drier than my previous washer. The wash quality is excellent — clothes come out clean, fresh, and well cared for. The 6 Motion Direct Drive system seems to handle different fabrics really well, and the Steam function is brilliant for tackling allergens and giving bedding a deep clean. One of my favourite features is the LG ThinQ app. It’s very easy to set up and makes life simpler — I can start or monitor washes from my phone, get notifications when a cycle finishes, and even download extra programs. It adds a nice modern touch to the everyday routine. Design-wise, it looks sleek in the slate grey finish and feels solidly built. Despite the large 9 kg drum, it fits neatly into my kitchen space without sticking out — a perfect fit under the counter. It’s also very quiet, even during the spin cycle.
