LG washing Machine!!!
What a belter for the price. The spin cycle is hardly audible. Washed brilliantly and the 30 min cycle is a bonus. Does what it should with no frills attached… well, part from the on / off / end cycle jingle - This washer also has WiFi!!! Programme your own tunes = winner winner chicken dinner!!!

Child lock is useless.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Happy with the machine but the child lock is absolutely useless. The power button remains active even when childlock is on.The wash will not resume but will get cancelled if a child presses that button and we'll have to start the wash all over again. Really frustrating when the routine cycle is 3.5 hrs long. Learnt this the hard way ,on my first wash.

Great budget washing machine
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve been really pleased with our new LG washing machine so far. It was straightforward to set up and use, and most importantly, the washing results have been very good. Clothes come out clean and fresh, and there is a good range of programmes to choose from depending on what we are washing. The connected app is also a really useful feature. It’s handy being able to check the progress of a wash from your phone and get a notification when the cycle has finished, particularly when you’re busy doing other things around the house. Overall, the machine feels well made, is easy to use and performs exactly as we had hoped. We’ve been very happy with our purchase so far and would definitely recommend it.

Worse than my old 15 Yr old LG model
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this machine with the confidence of having had a previous LG for 15 years. This machine supposedly can spin at 1400 rpm. IT DOESN'T. At best, I would estimate it spins at 1000 rpm max. I have had retailer engineers and LG engineers looking at it, the latter confirming that the sensors are too sensitive and think I'm only washing a small load. I wouldn't call two king size sheets plus pillow cases a small load. Very disappointed.

LG quality!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first black colour washing machine looks stunning. Matches my kitchen very well. It’s a good LG quality, as expected.

Quiet - brilliant, some areas to improve
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Quiet - brilliant, some areas to improve. Firstly, I bought this washing machine as it needed to fit within a certain depth space and it does that brilliantly. I would’ve preferred a white door but that is an aesthetic choice and it appears that my preference is currently not in fashion as most units seem to come with a black door. I bought this particular model because it has the direct drive motor so will hopefully be quieter and also more reliable and so far it is very quiet compared to I think most washing machines, however particularly compared to our previous washing machine which bearing had failed so sounded like a jet taking off every time. I find its IQ sense helpful in weighing the load and adjusting the time accordingly and you are able to use all the different settings no matter the load even though some of them it says only up to 2 kilograms However, a bigger downside of the model is that the display does not tell you how long a wash will take on a number of the settings before you press start which can be very frustrating trying to choose the correct setting. it would in my view be preferable if there was an option, perhaps through the downloaded cycle to measure the weight in order to have this information available beforehand The downloaded cycle is also another area for improvement as it allows you to have one downloaded cycle in the downloaded cycle slot and sells this as a custom slot. However, it is not a custom slot as you can only use a certain preset settings through the LG app. Whilst this is easy to use and helpful it does mean that if you want to have a particular setting, you can’t always achieve this. For example, our previous washing machine had a setting that would do an hour wash and particular temperature and this was perfect for a lot of our loads that needed doing relatively quickly but also needed a decent wash. There is no available option to even reach close to this and know that you’ve reached it ahead of pressing the play button and hoping that you’ve selected the right setting. That said, I’m very happy with it
