Almost excellent, except for one design flaw
This is a typically good product from Bosch but, and this is what's stopped me from giving five stars, the water container is on the back of the unit and because of it's design it's really difficult to reinsert when it's loaded with water. We get around this by tipping the container back a little and filling with water (very carefully) from a jug, so it's a nuisance not a show-stopper. This is an excellent example of product designers failing to use their products during prototyping. If they had have done they'd surely have resolved this issue before release to the marketplace.

No because you can not select any action without a pod being inserted, I have not tried with a blank or empty pod or what the water would be like with just the cleaning disk, which does appear to be hot water. I hope this helps
