The Tassimo by Bosch Finesse Friendly brings cafe-style drinks to your kitchen in seconds, perfect for those who want variety without the fuss. This sleek black pod machine uses Intellibrew technology to read each T Disc and brew it just right, delivering over 50 different drinks at the touch of a button. You can enjoy cappuccinos, lattes, americanos, caramel latte macchiatos, espressos and even hot chocolate, with the IntensityBoost function adding extra strength whenever you fancy a bolder cup.
Daily use is straightforward thanks to thoughtful design. An adjustable cup stand fits most mugs, while the water tank with level gauge means fewer refills and no surprises. The LED display alerts you when descaling is due, and dishwasher-safe parts make cleaning effortless. Automatic standby mode activates after brewing to reduce energy use. In the box are the machine, instructions and a T Disc. It runs with a pump delivering consistent results, is compact for most worktops, uses Tassimo T Discs only, and comes with a 2-year guarantee.

No because you can not select any action without a pod being inserted, I have not tried with a blank or empty pod or what the water would be like with just the cleaning disk, which does appear to be hot water. I hope this helps
