The DDJ-FLX2 is an easy-to-use controller that's perfect for anyone who's thinking of starting to DJ. After installing one of several compatible DJ applications on a smartphone, tablet, or computer, and connecting it to the DDJ-FLX2, DJs will be ready to seamlessly mix tracks and apply exciting eff ects with ease, just like professionals do. They can even start DJing using compatible streaming services (in countries where streaming is available), such as Apple Music via the included subscription free rekordbox application.
Performance Pads for pro-style DJing It's easy to manipulate music with the Performance Pads on the DDJ-FLX2. Pad Mode Select allows DJs to switch between various modes, including Hot Cue mode, where any point in a track can be marked.
Compatibility with multiple DJ applications and streaming services The DDJ-FLX2 works with various DJ applications including rekordbox and djay. After installing their preferred app on a mobile device.
Smart CFX and Smart Fader It's easy to replicate the seamless song mixing of professional DJs thanks to the Smart CFX1 and Smart Fader*1 features on the DDJ-FLX2.

Small and well built, great kit
I wanted a controller that i can use anywhere, this is great as if fits in a small bag and runs off the battery on my laptop. Really easy to use and great for practicing DJ sets on the move.

Brilliant budget ddj
I bought this about 3 weeks ago and it was simply plug and play, but I did have another controller that worked with rekordbox previously. If you are a first time user there is a step by step tutorial that's easy to follow for a first time user.

Ideal for Android
An ideal compact sized controller for djay Pro on Android - works flawlessly over bluetooth unlike a lot of other controllers I have tried. The only thing it lacks is an internal battery but it will power up from a powerbank, add a pair of battery powered computer speakers for a totally mobile DJ setup.

Really simple to use and tutorial is really helpful. Was efficient pick up time, really pleased! Only annoying thing is that you need to buy the appropriate lead to fit to a USB laptop.

From the information we have available, I can advise the AlphaTheta DDJ-FLX2 DJ Controller is compatible with VirtualDJ Pro. To fully use the DDJ-FLX2 with VirtualDJ, you will need one of the following licenses:
Pro Infinity
Pro Subscription
Home Plus license
Without one of these licenses, the controller will only operate for 10 minutes each time you restart VirtualDJ.
