About this product
The Habitat Compact Folding Office Desk gives you a proper workspace when you need it and disappears when you don't. It's really handy for smaller homes where every bit of floor space counts. There's plenty of room on top for your laptop, paperwork or whatever you're working on. The wood-effect finish with powder-coated steel frame keeps it looking smart and stands up to daily use. When you're finished, just fold it down and tuck it away behind a door or under a bed.
It arrives fully assembled, so you can use it straight out of the box without fiddling with tools or instructions. The steel frame keeps everything stable while you're working, and it holds up to 20kg. Most office chairs fit comfortably underneath, so you can sit comfortably. A one-year guarantee's included for peace of mind. If it's over 60cm high, you'll need to attach it to the wall to prevent tipping, that's important for safety.

Simple and stable
The table was all that I expected, a simple straightforward folding desk. A good height, very stable, although the folding and unfolding is a bit clunky. Looks good with a solid wood finish and has space for more than 1appliance plus keyboard & mouse. Satisfied.

Great but…
Great sturdy desk and space saving as foldable but it comes shrink wrapped in plastic that states it must be removed. When you remove it it pulls off latge areas of the glossy desk top finish!

Solid as a rock
Absolutely excellent. I bought the desk to put my overlocker on - it makes other tables wobble quite alarmingly - but because of the design of this one, not only is it as steady as a rock, it pushes right back to the wall in my sewing room. I don’t know how long the shiny newness will last, but for £50, it would be hard to beat this for value. You don’t even need to put this together - straight out of the box and into service.

Solid small foldable desk.
I have been using this foldable desk since last week, and it's a solid working desk if you're short of space. I've used it with a laptop, then with a desktop computer and a screen. Easy to fold and put away when not needed.

Fine except the surface coating
DO NOT remove the “protective film”, regardless of what the sticker on the surface says! The film wraps the top and extends under the coloured coating, so in taking it off I ended up peeling a large portion of the white coating off :(

Not great…
I have removed the plastic covering as per the instructions and it has left a sticky residue all over the desk top also you can’t remove the covering from the side of the desk without ripping the covering underneath. Really disappointed as the desk itself is just what I was looking for.

Very convenient sturdy folding table
This is a very sturdy and stable item, whilst at the same time being of a very manageable weight. It folds away completely flat to store out of sight when not in use. I have only one suggestion to the manufacturer, which would be top omit one of the lower horizontal lower beams, as these prevents comfortable free movement of an office chair wheels. Also very good price quality ratio.
