Initial Impressions Excellent
Very competitive pricing for this product. Excellent service after placing order as it was ready to collect from my chosen store location in less than 48 hours. This is the best variant of pole hedge trimmer. (The other variants with motor at the blade end are very 'unwieldy' especially at full extension). This is one of the lighter models on the market and hence I found it easy to use for extended periods without strain. Another plus point is that the standard length before adding the extension is slightly shorter than others on market, again making it easier to hold for longer periods. Other models achieve the same total extension by using a shorter extension piece and longer standard length. In summary it has worked very well so far after 2 weeks of ownership and seems to be adequately engineered for its purpose. The ultimate test will be whether it will last for 5 years of regular summer weekend use as did my last brand model did before eventually failing.

Good reach but very cumbersome
Had this a week used a few times now on different hedges I find it cumbersome pretty cumbersome not well balanced and heavy safety switch is a pain as easily comes on I have cut soft and hard branches ,hard ones it struggles with 8mm and over, it has a good reach when you add extension, I seen others comment’s about the plug comes apart easily from the main cable but read the instructions and will not be issue

Great hedge trimmer
Whilst this feels heavy initially I soon got used to it and it works a treat. The extension is very useful for my ridiculously high hedge. Would recommend.

A sturdy long-reach trimmer that's wel built
A great long-reach hedge cutter. It is quite heavy though at both the motor end by the handle and the cutting blade although this is probably due to its verysturdy construction. I can see what previous reviewers have said about the plug and socket near the handle pulling apart easily, however if you follow the enclosed instructions, you can prevent this from happening. A very sturdy piece of kit that should last.

I would definitely recommend this.
This is an excellent bit of kit, powerful light and a great price.. my only criticism if I must have one is that I had to wire tie the cable connector together as I was working on steps. And stopping all the time to plug it back in got to much.

Really effective pole trimmer
This is a great hedge trimmer and plenty powerful to keep the garden under control. Cable adapter does seem a little weak but then realised about the cable loop on the handle and all good after that. If you have high bushes or shrubs this will trim them back

Easy to use with motor in the handle
Works well, well balanced and easier to use than the cordless version as it has the motor in the handle meaning there is a smaller turning moment when using it. The whole device appears well made ad sturdy.

Pole Hedge Trimmer cuts tall hedge with ease.
This pole hedge trimmer cuts very well and has made light work of my 2.5 metre hedge. The power unit being in the hand leads to a better overall balance and makes the task more manageable. The adjustable blade angle works well and being able to adjust the angle of the hand grip makes operation more comfortable. Excellent value item. Yes it does - not sure why they answered no for. That black handle you pull it and it can go up to 90 degreee angle to do the tops of hedges etc
