About this product
The Einhell GC-HH 9046 electric hedge trimmer easily tackles tall hedges without the need for ladders. With a powerful 900W motor, it features a telescopic shaft extending up to 2.6m and a 46cm laser-cut, diamond-ground blade for precise trimming. The 20mm tooth spacing handles thicker branches, while the 11-position adjustable cutting head and rotating rear handle offer versatile cutting angles. Softgrip surfaces and an adjustable strap ensure comfort. Includes a quiver for safe transport and storage.
Tall and wide hedges can be cut in no time with 46 cm long blade with a cutting length of 41.2 cm. Clean and precise overhead cuts can be made from any angle thanks to the motor head's 11 tilt positions.
Thanks to its the rotatable handle, the long-pole hedge trimmer can make both vertical and horizontal cuts are possible.

It's a heavy duty cutter for the money. My arms ached after 2 days of laurel trimming as it's pretty weighty. Cuts through fairly thick sections. Only slightl negative is the power cord often came away. Had to adapt that with some tape The angle adjustment is very handy

Excellent trimmer
I bought a few months ago to trim some blackthorn. At first it seemed quite heavy, but to be fair after finding the right position with the shoulder strap it is fine to use, and works really well. It looks well engineered, and I'm very pleased with it.

Doesn't work as the power lead keeps disconnecting
I wish I had read some of the reviews before purchasing. Everytime I try to use this to trim my hedges the lead just simply disconnects from the fitted connections. Not only frustrating but also problematic.

Best balanced tool for tall jobs
Bought to trim a high mixed variety hedge, which avoids balancing on a ladder on soft ground. The motor in the base helps balance the weight rather than in the head, as other brands do. Cuts through the material with relative ease.

Just the job
Bought this to trim a tree in our back garden that has run wild. Cuts quite thick stuff suprisingly well. Bit unwieldy if you are reaching high but does the job

Strong and sturdy, one design fault though
Used this once so far, its sturdy and powerful, slightly heavier than my previous one but cuts through just about anything. Only problem is the cable, it plus into the trimmer from a 20com length sticking out and theres no lock to the plug, because it's two pin, it just falls out on the smallest of nudges, so I was constantly plugging it back in. Next time it tape it up, I assume its a safety feature but its very annoying.

Yes it does - not sure why they answered no for. That black handle you pull it and it can go up to 90 degreee angle to do the tops of hedges etc
