I purchased this mat as I wanted to make sure no dirty boot marks made their way in our home. No only is it a great for wiping feet on, it's also a nice neat shape.

Purchased to replace a matt I'd had for 5+ years that was starting to unravel along the edges. It didn't have a backing so figured I'd go for a backing this time to add more durability/stability. This looks really lovely outside the front door of my flat which is actually inside a main building. I was a bit surprised to see on the label it says not suitable for use on carpet. I'm not sure why - only two possibilities, perhaps there is potential for the black backing to stain, or on carpet, the non-slip does become a little slippy? Either way, it looks great on the communal hallway carpet and was a great buy whilst on sale. Even better, I was able to buy it with nectar points!
