Customers Say
Powerful hedge trimmer with great reach and cutting ability, ideal for tall hedges. However, many users find it heavy and somewhat awkward to handle for extended periods.

Faulty
I bought this but it doesn’t work, I threw the box stupidly before I tried it so not sure what to do

Too heavy for me
Not an item I could use often due to the weight. I read the reviews regarding weight and imagined that I'd be strong enough but it is a heavy thing to wield. However it is sturdy and solid and did the job. There are possibly better, lighter hedge cutters available. I'd look at others if I ever replaced these.

Great.
Does the job perfect for my high hedge, saves using a ladder. Great price also.

Very good.
McGregor Corded Hedge Trimmer. At first it's a bit heavy and cumbersome, but once you get used to it it's really good and quite precise. It reaches far further than anything I've used before. It easily tackles my mixed hawthorn and ivy hedge which is about 7' high and about 4' across. The best bit is that you can angle the blades down, so you can reach and trim the top of other side; great for me because it's a cow field.

Good value hedge trimmer
Needed a long reach hedge trimmer but didn’t want to spend a fortune. This fitted the bill perfectly, a good amateur piece of kit which handles normal garden bushes.. The angled element works well for topping off too. Only criticism is that it is heavy but I guess if it was lighter it would be flimsy so happy to put up with that.

Does the job well!
I am really pleased with this hedge trimmer. I no longer have to get the ladders out to do the job as the reach is just perfect. Though a little top heavy, the handle and arm are comfortable. Just be prepared for an arm workout! The length of the cutting blade does help reduce the time the task takes though. I like the hedges to have a rounded finish and the angle settings really help achieve this. I was also a little worried about cutting through the chord but the bright blue makes it easily visible while you are working. For the price and the outcome a great product.
