Amazing gift idea
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is amazing, my 2.5 year old loves it. She plays with it so much. There's so much going on, it's really sturdy. She loves putting the blood ks together and building. It's really helped her imagination with play.

Absolutely fantastic!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Joshua absolutely LOVES it! He also feels so proud of himself when he was able to build the whole thing all by himself, thanks to the easy-to-follow instructions. This train set kept him occupied for hours, and he kept coming back to it every day, sometimes changing things up with the tracks and putting the action bricks in different places. The most fascinating thing was how you could also control the train using the Duplo train app!

Great fun! Excellent addition for duplo
This toy is amazing. As always with lego and duplo items, the instructions were simple and clear. Even a three year old can follow them. My daughter really enjoyed the interactive part of the toy which controls the lights, sounds and movements of the train. The added purple action brick can be personalised through the app, which is alot of fun. Can record person messeges or use pre installed songs. We used happy birthday. We added 2 other expansion packs including the bridge for even more fun! With the app, you can control the train and all the interactive Add ons which is amazing! Does not come with batteries but easy enough to get. This is ALOT of fun and hours of play to be had.

Interactive and great for kids!
This is a great set with nice chunky pieces for small hands. The instructions were very straightforward and simple to follow, this is absolutely fantastic for imaginative play, and the sounds and movement adds extra fun for hours of play. Even my 8 year old enjoyed building this!

Lego Train with interactive bricks lights & sounds
Great train set for toddlers it comes with carriages that connect & can wash and charge the train, its got a station building and 16 pieces of track and for the price and quality i’d say its a very good buy for the little ones and is easy enough for us parents & grandparents to help build keeping them occupied too, and exciting knowing its got 5 interactive bricks with lights and sounds too, i would recommend this to start a lifetime of building .. love it well done Lego !

A real game-changer for imaginative play
When I first opened this set, it felt a little underwhelming given the price-point. It didn't look like it offered good value for money. However, after exploring all the features—most notably the interactive app—my opinion changed completely. This set really comes to life with its interactive elements and storytelling possibilities, and it's not limited to stories about trains either. This set is all about getting those imaginative juices flowing. My 2 ½-year-old has absolutely loved playing with this set, despite being targeted at age 3+. The app is a fantastic addition, with challenge-type games (load the train, wash the train, etc.), the ability to control the train remotely, and a feature that allows us to record our own short sound that plays when the train drives over the purple action block. This personalisation feature really enhances those imaginative play scenarios. The train doesn’t need to be used exclusively on the tracks, either. You can go off-track for some of the other games available on the app, which helps with teaching coordination skills. The interactive elements, like the train station, cargo loader, and car wash, offer hours of imaginative play. The lights and sounds activated by the action bricks make the experience even more engaging, and the addition of animals and flowers helps set the scene, allowing for even more stories to be created. One downside is that the train doesn't come with batteries included (although the box is very clear about this). It requires four AAA batteries. I think it would be better if it was USB rechargeable, but this isn't a huge inconvenience. The instructions are easy to follow, and I can even get my daughter’s help with building the track as the blocks are large enough for her to handle and easy enough for her to piece together. Once the track was set up, I was happy to find that the area inside the track is spacious enough for my daughter to sit comfortably. This enables her to be right in the centre of the action during her imaginative play sessions. I feel confident knowing that this is a high-quality build with size-appropriate pieces, making it safe and easy for my daughter to handle. Contrary to my initial feelings, the set is highly entertaining and very educational. I would definitely recommend this set to parents and carers. The combination of interactive play, educational value, and the additional app features make it a fantastic investment for young storytellers.

Bright and hours worth of fun, the Big Interactive
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thank you so much to Influenster and Lego for sending the Lego Big Interactive Community Train to my family to play with. From the moment the train set has arrived my son has been super excited, the bright colours and the fact that it had a train wash made his day!! The train set is recommended for ages 3 plus and my son, who is 4 years old, followed the instructions and enjoyed putting it together with very little help. The sound bars that go on the track are amazing, they play sweet music and sounds, and the train itself is really quite fast with flashing lights!! It came with four people and a cat and they all sit very easily in the train and carriages and it also has four train track add ons: a train wash, wind turbine fuel stop, a cafe and a brick dropper, that drops bricks into the train. My son has played with it non stop since it’s arrived and has easily rearranged the layout and added other Duplo/Lego items to it that he already had. I love the way his imagination runs wild and he can confidently build and have fun whilst doing so. The manual that came with the train set is great, very easily laid out and the images are big and clear which is good for little ones.

This incredible action packed toy has many great features and functionalities for instance there are a huge variety of ways to play, explore and discover, as well as learning on the go. This Montessori toy allows children to use their imaginative and creative skills to build and play the track with ease and fun. There are so much to explore, such as the Lego train station, the cargo loader, washing the carriages or charging the engine. My son had so much fun placing the LEGO Duplo action bricks on the track as each activity is brought to life with lights and sounds which actives once the train passes over. This toy is recommended from 3yrs, my son is 6years old and has a huge passion for trains so this toy is perfect. He enjoyed building and following the easy to read instructions provided and built the train and buildings with complete ease. This set is a perfect size for little ones as its safe, easy to clean and can store away. My sons favourite part about this smart and multifunctional set has to definitely be the FREE Lego duplo interactive trains app which I downloaded on his ipad which is compatible with the bluetooth train. It allows him to record his own sounds for the trains journey around track and have the opportunity to be and feel like a real life train driver and operate the train himself via the app. I would highly recommend this fantastic high quality and educational Lego set to all parents and carers of little ones as my son absolutely adores his toy and is always playing with it.
