Really flexable design
You can choose from different 3 dragons to build from the instructions. Yet with a little imagination can turn your final build into something of your own creation.

Medieval Village addition
This set is a grate addition to the previously peaceful medieval village set. The dragon set is perfectly sitting on the blacksmith house overlooking village. It is fun to play with my kid, with these sets, it brings back old memories while we are making new ones.

A difficult build but worth it
So my 11 year old and I created this wonderfull set. We made the dragon as its a favourire creature of theirs. My child wanted to build it by himself as it says 9+ however it wasnt long before i had to intervine. The step by step instructions are bright and clear for me to follow, my child struggled tho. We ended up doing this over the space of a week to be able to gove my child time to chill a little as they were getting very frustrated with not understanding the instructions.

Super detail and movement
Excellent lego set, this set can be built three ways as its a 3 in 1, the age range set (9) is fair as some builds are quite tricky but lego instructions are great and very easy to follow. You can also use lego creator and the app super wasy to access using the qr code. Each build looks great and completely different from each other, with 715 pieces is a large set perfect for kids with an imaginiation theres so many moving parts the detail is just great! Vey medievil and definately good for role play. Highly reccomend this !

The new world of lego!
If lego had looked like this when i was a child i might have played more! It looks daunting but the instructions are clear and the design is beautiful. Anything that gets my 11yr old granddaughter off her phone must be an amazing product@

Magnificent Dragon!
I was very excited to receive my Argos tester product. There are 3 building options in this 715 piece set - a medieval dragon, a sea serpent and a phoenix. Straight away, from the colourful graphics on the box, I could see that this would make a fantastic display item in any childs bedroom as well as being fun, absorbing and diverse to build and play with. Having very limited experience with building Lego I started with the little red treasure chest resting on golden ingots. The instructions were very clear and it only took about 15 minutes. A nice feature is that the lid to the chest is hinged so can be opened to reveal the gems placed inside. Pleased with my first finished piece, which took little effort, I laid out the pieces to start creating the dragon. I will be honest, I didnt find building the dragon easy going. Some of the pieces are so small I found it difficult to pick up and fit without them springing out of my fingers multiple times. It was great fun seeing the dragon take shape. The flexible tail had good movement and shape once fitted to the main body. The most enjoyable part was building the taloned feet and detailed, realistic head. When I joined the head to the neck I did have some trouble getting the balls into the sockets. You need to angle the ball and socket just right to connect as I found through trial and error but I was quite ecstatic when I succeeded as it really did look like a medieval dragon. The next stage was building and fitting the wings and I'm afraid this is where the, so far, enjoyable experience began to become a frustrating chore. Instructions were not clear, I couldnt get some pieces to fit properly and some pieces jept falling off. I spent a considerable time unbuilding parts to see where I had gone wrong and I'm disappointed to admit I gave up completely, feeling jaded, so my dragon at this point is incomplete in the photos attached to this review. However, I have no doubt that I will revisit this project at a later date as I am eager to see the finished dragon in all it's glory! So far, it has taken me 5 hours 35 minutes to get were I am. Overall, I would say that this particular set is more suited to a child who is a seasoned Lego creator, with nimble fingers and can interpret, sometimes, unclear instructions. However, the features are great. The moving parts make this a Lego piece that comes alive and is, aesthetically, very appealing. The added bonus is that this set makes 3 different figures and will keep children entertained for hours and hours building and rebuilding from phoenix to serpent to dragon and back again!
