About this product
The Hisense HV643D90UK brings flexible dishwashing to larger households with 16 place settings capacity and a clever cutlery tray that frees up space below for pots, pans and oversized items. The Auto Dry system opens the door automatically at the end of the cycle, promoting natural airflow for faster, more effective drying. When you're caught short, the 15-minute quick wash handles lightly soiled crockery in a flash. Just select the 1-hour programme and press speed wash for sparkling results.
With 6 programmes including eco, glassware and intensive wash options, you've got the right cycle for every load, supported by 5 temperature settings for complete control. The adjustable top basket and moveable sections let you reconfigure the interior to fit taller items with ease. Touch controls and an LED display keep you informed with time remaining and rinse aid and salt refill indicators. At 45dB, A-rated cleaning and drying, and 11L water consumption per eco cycle, it delivers thorough results whilst staying quiet and efficient.

Ok but …
Bought this to replace a candy one. Not keen on the cutlery draw, find it a faff. Bottom draw Comes off its runners easily. Weird metal static bar on the top draw. Think it’s for glasses or mugs but does allow mine to go in there. No 30 min rapid wash. Only a 15min which is too quick for a light wash. Also adjusting the height to match our unit was not easy. Reached max height and now have a gap. I like the quietness of it. It doesn’t beep loudly. The door opens after some washes but not all which seems odd. Haven’t worked it all out yet and had it 2 weeks. Also not rinse setting either. Like the 2 year warranty and the D energy rating which is why I bought it. Did expect more from Hisense brand so not sure I would buy it again. Feels like they were trying to be different but it didn’t work.

Nice dishwasher but a couple of gripes
Nice and quiet with a good delay start feature...washes really well and having three washing wands is better than two on most dishwashers. The cutlery tray at the top of the compartment is good but still use my old cutlery basket too. Gripes - the lower tray easily misses it's matching door 'wheel tracks' on pulling out and slews to the side and off it's tracks. Needs a design fix for that. Similarly the design of the wine glass 'flaps' is awkward to use in engaging the flap on the top basket to hold wine glasses at that 45 degrees angle and the plastic construction is very flimsy. There are four of these and I don't think they will go the distance in time. Otherwise I'm happy with it so far and it's not too overly complicated and feature steeped. I generally only do two types of wash and wouldn't need/use other dishwashers' multitude if washing options/features and having to pay for them just to be there. This Hisense is very adequate for most I would say. Probably built to a price but would benefit from a couple of design and construction material tweaks. We will see.

Strong door spring makes using it very difficult.
It is good at cleaning the dishes. However. The door spring is much too strong. When you open the door and the dw is empty or half full, the whole thing topples forwards. You need to put your foot on the door in order to push it back and return it to a horizontal position. You need to hold the door down with your foot so it does not spring back up. Then it can be loaded or unloaded. If you have a brick this can help hold the door down but *********. Do not buy unless you are an acrobat.

Not the best purchase I've ever made....
Thought I'd give this brand a try....wish I hadn't. Dishwasher works ok but the fitting is a nightmare. The cheap plastic legs, screw heads that disintegrated as soon as they were used, the cheap feel and quality of the racks would not bring me to buy hi-sense again. No template or sticky pads included to fit the integrated door. Overall, disappointing experience Vs previous purchases of Kenwood & Bosch.

Good value dishwasher.
Only had this a week but it is nice and quiet and cleans very well . The cutlery tray save a lot of space and works well.

Disappointing!
Recently purchased this dishwasher. Having had 5 dishwashers over many years I'm very disappointed with the design of this model. Most of the programmes are very high temperature with long running times (hardly eco friendly). Yes, a speed wash is available on some but still at high heats and quite long running times (apart from the 15 mins which is still hot). The most annoying feature for me is the cutlery tray. Having accumulated many sets of cutlery over the years with handles of varying shapes and sizes, fitting them into the tiny racks is, in some cases, impossible. Teaspoons of differing sizes are a particular problem as they fall out of the so-called supports when moving the tray in and out. A frustrating amount of time is spent navigating this when loading the dishwasher. Nothing could be easier than a cutlery basket. When loading dinner plates in the lower basket they have to be placed at the front left edge of the appliance to avoid fouling the spray arm above. Unfortunately, I find the overall design of the machine, upper and lower baskets included, not very user friendly.
