About this product
You're starting to cycle at home and want an easy introduction to regular exercise. This Decathlon bike is designed for beginners using it in their own space. The console displays distance, duration, speed and calories so you'll monitor your sessions clearly. It's got eight resistance levels you can change manually. The 3kg flywheel ensures smooth, consistent pedalling throughout.
The seat adjusts to match your height for comfortable positioning. The handlebar adjusts too, letting you set up the bike to suit you. Transportation wheels make it simple to move around your home. The battery-powered console shows four workout metrics at once. Increase the resistance as you develop your fitness over time.

Physio bike
It is really easy to assemble and seems pretty sturdy. Bought it for physio, but found even on the lowest settings, quite hard to push the pedals. Had to take the belt off it. It is also a bit long to reach the handlebars. Good for general fitness though and great value for money.

Decent basic bike for the money Hardly any. Not much difference in resistance but suits me as it is fortunately Very basic but that's what I wanted Shows average calories and also speed/distance/time. Have had the whistles and bells ones in the past, find this much better for just getting on with it Could do with a gel seat cover for comfort, but the seat is nice and wide

Uncomfortable seat
Had the bike a couple of weeks, still haven’t got used to how uncomfortable the seat is! No other issues with the bike. Will try to get a more comfortable seat if possible!

Good value for the price
Replaced 18 year old exercise which had stopped working. Assembly was supposed to be one person for 30 minutes but turned out in my case to be 2 hours. This may well have been partly due to my incompetence but eventually I found it much easier to hold 2 sections together while the bolts to hold them together with holes exactly lined up in place were inserted by a second person. However, when all was assembled, it has so far performed well and is good value for the price.

The handlebar is not adjustable, but the user can adjust the height of the seat, to ensure that you maintain a healthy posture while pedaling.
How to do it:
Stand next to the bike and adjust the seat to the height of your hip.

The Decathlon Essential Bike has only restrictions for sportspersons weight which is 100kg. The exercise bike has an adjustable seat and therefore could be adjusted to the user height.

Decathlon Essential Bike could be used on a carpet, but for optimal comfort, we recommend using specific floor pads under your bike (Decathlon DF920 Floor Pads - 4 Pack). These foam pads will help to: optimize the stability of the bike when in use, reduce vibrations and noise and protect your floor.
Domyos exercise bikes have two stabilizers at the back of the base to ensure perfect stability during your workouts, regardless of the type of flooring.
