Good value for the price
Replaced 18 year old exercise which had stopped working. Assembly was supposed to be one person for 30 minutes but turned out in my case to be 2 hours. This may well have been partly due to my incompetence but eventually I found it much easier to hold 2 sections together while the bolts to hold them together with holes exactly lined up in place were inserted by a second person. However, when all was assembled, it has so far performed well and is good value for the price.

Compact, sturdy, effective and affordable.
This exercise bike is great - haven’t been on a bike in 50 years and wanting to build my stamina and upper thigh and calf muscles up before going out in the summer on a regular bike ride. Am finding easy to fit in a daily 30 Min exercise routine into my morning and can adjust the pedal resistance as I progress. Wish I’d bought it sooner. It arrived well packed was easy to assemble single-handed and is sturdy yet compact.

The handlebar is not adjustable, but the user can adjust the height of the seat, to ensure that you maintain a healthy posture while pedaling.
How to do it:
Stand next to the bike and adjust the seat to the height of your hip.

The Decathlon Essential Bike has only restrictions for sportspersons weight which is 100kg. The exercise bike has an adjustable seat and therefore could be adjusted to the user height.

Decathlon Essential Bike could be used on a carpet, but for optimal comfort, we recommend using specific floor pads under your bike (Decathlon DF920 Floor Pads - 4 Pack). These foam pads will help to: optimize the stability of the bike when in use, reduce vibrations and noise and protect your floor.
Domyos exercise bikes have two stabilizers at the back of the base to ensure perfect stability during your workouts, regardless of the type of flooring.
