Misleading advertisement but it looks strong
There was misleading advertisement by Argos. They said it would be foldable but it folds backwards i.e. on the floor. I dont class that as foldable. Other than that it looks like a reliable product.
Misleading great product, 25 - 34

Easy to use and easy to fold for storage

Ok
Pros. The great thing about this machine is comes already assembled. Open the box and away you go. Nice and light to manoeuvre due to the wheels. When folded takes up hardly any space. Cons. The cost. Also seems to disconnect from the app on phone alot and wouldn't connect to the WiFi either. Having owned a rebook treadmill in the past I would say the rebook treadmill is better, But bulky

Space...
Folds away and stores vertically taking up little space when not in use.

Quality Treadmill Bargain
Bought this to replace a Reebok item that had finally died after many years of service. Didn’t have a big budget so did some research at the cheaper end of the price range and this one came up. Have to say that it is very sturdy, smooth and well specced for the modest price. Really happy and would definitely recommend. Couple of minor things: whilst it is fairly easy to put up from the box for the first time, a sheet with a diagram would have been helpful! After you’ve done it once, it is simple enough. Also, as others have mentioned, the ’drink holder’ is a joke and is not fit for purpose.

A great bit of kit!
We wanted a treadmill for daily walks. After looking at a number of very informative videos on YouTube we chose this one because a) the overall size wasn’t too big. It’s easy for one person to move. If necessary it can be folded and stored upright against a wall. b) it comes fully assembled- just unpack it, plug it in and go! c) it’s very easy to use. d) the price was reasonable. e) it was readily available and was delivered two days after we ordered it. Just the job for two pensioners who want to keep fit.

Great value treadmill
Before purchasing this model, I spent ages researching various options and finally settled one the Run500 - I’ve had this about a month now, and it’s fantastic. Both my daughter and I use it daily, and we’re really impressed. Pros: literally no assembly required, just unbox it, plug it in and you’re ready to go. It feels super sturdy, high quality and looks like a much more expensive machine. Space-saving as it folds completely flat, unlike a lot of other machines. Runs smoothly and fairly quietly - we have it on a mat on top of wooden floors, and that definitely makes a difference. Reaches a decent pace, good incline function for the price. Belt is plenty wide / long enough (I’m 5’7 with a fairly long stride). Decent shock absorption. Holds an impressive weight for a home machine in this price bracket. Pre-set programs are easy to use, and the apps are decent / connecting to the machine via Bluetooth was pretty much automatic. Handy remote! Cons: nothing major to note but it’s very big, heavy and an bit awkward to move - not an issue for me as I have it somewhere that I don’t need to fold it away often, but it’s something to consider. We have it on the ground floor, but you’d need a couple very strong people to get it up a flight of stairs. The lever to release the top half so you can fold it down / up is very stiff - you need some strength to open it - again something to consider if you plan to fold it away often. Safety clip at the end of the key feels a bit flimsy, so attach it carefully to your clothes. Belt alignment was a bit frustrating- the auto alignment feature is a great idea, but I’m not convinced it’s accurate as the tension numbers fluctuate so much it’s tricky and takes some patience to adjust. I’ve only had to do this after unboxing, so it’s a minor issue in my opinion. Overall I’m really pleased, and would happily purchase this again!

Hello Sammy,
If you connect the RUN500 treadmill to a running app - such as Domyos E-Connected, Zwift, or Kinomap - the machine will not automatically adjust its speed based on app activity. Instead, the treadmill acts independently, and speed or incline must be controlled manually. Thank you for using Q&A!
Hello Abz,
Yes, you can press the “Start/Pause” button to pause your workout during a program. Thank you for using Q&A!
Hello Running Mad,
If you have a Peloton App, your Run500 should sync with the Peloton app letting you follow Peloton workout classes and track metrics from your treadmill. Thank you for using Q&A!
Hello Bootsie,
The length of the cable is 96cm without the plug and 101cm with the plug. In regards to extension leads we don't recommend one to be used.

Hello Grant,
The oil is not included and to extend the lifespan of your treadmill, you should lubricate it every 200 km of use.
1 & 2. Simply spray twice underneath the running belt on the right and on the left.
3. Then set your treadmill off at 5 km/h for 5 minutes, without standing on it.
Thank you for using Q&A
Hello Ade26,
The Decathlon Run500 Folding Treadmill with Connected Fitness has a Bluetooth receiver and it can connect to some apps directly like Zwift, Kinomap and the decathlon app. It doesn't connect to Strava directly, but the user can pair the watch, the watch will record the run and then can synchronize it on Strava...there is no direct connection between the treadmill and Strava, it will need to go through the watch first.
Thank you for using the Q&A
