I got 2 of these with a capacity of 4 switch master plugs, a month ago & there are great as I can see the light switches indicator letting me know when there on or off depending on what I'm using at that time, gladly they're surge safety protected too & now I can get better affordability with my electric, as of getting new smart meters just installed! Only wish I had all my stuff on them, almost have now as got another 2!! The next one's may have to be with a 2 metre long flexible lead as being in a different room!! Big Thanks Argos!!

That would depend on the total power usage, if it's below the 13A (3,120W / 3.12kW) maximum for the extension then that would be alright.
As for electrical storms, Surge Protection does not mean Lightning Arrestor, so a direct strike would likely wipe out the protector as well as any connected devices, but this would be an exceedingly rare event so most properties will never experience it.

Our original design has a rewirable plug, but there is a move towards making all plugs moulded as stock cycles so this may change at any time.
However, even a moulded plug could be cut off and the wires stripped to go into a replacement rewirable plug, so this shouldn't prevent you achieving our aims.

Having 4 items plugged in at the same time isn't necessarily going to be a problem as each socket is individually switched.
Having all 4 running at the same time, however, may result in an overload to the extension so you would need to check on the power consumption of each device and add them together to see if they exceed the constant safe capacity of the lead (we would advise limiting to 10A or 2,400W / 2.4kW).
