About this product
Create a warm, inviting atmosphere with the Habitat Caliban XL globe lamp that brings soft, ambient light to any corner of your home. The large spherical orange glass shade diffuses a gentle glow perfect for cosy evenings or adding character to your living room, bedroom or hallway. It sits beautifully on the floor, creating a relaxed mood without taking up surface space, and the mid-century inspired design suits both modern and classic interiors. The smooth glass feels substantial and well-made, and the inline switch lets you control it easily without bending to the plug.
It uses a single E14 small edison screw LED bulb up to 7 watts so you can choose your preferred brightness level, and the orange glass naturally creates warm light that feels welcoming and comfortable. The 1.8m cable gives you flexibility with positioning, and minimal assembly means you'll have it ready to use quickly. Beautiful but delicate
I’ve bought two of these. I had to replace it as it got smashed. It is quite delicate but looks stunning

Scratched and chipped
I bought this last week, it’s arrived scratched and chipped, looks like it’s just how the paint has set on the glass ball

Disappointing
Crap, it isn’t orange once you turn it on, light just shines through clear. Not as in the photos.

Statement piece
Have wanted this lamp for so long and to buy it in the sale was a bonus. Size and glow is perfect it’s a real statement piece. It’s a proper warm white light too rather than casting a yellow glow. One star off simply because you have to buy the bulbs separately which meant you trips as they came on separate dates ?!

Cosy Vibes
Purchased this light to add a touch of autumn into my living room and it certainly doesn’t disappoint. It gives off a beautiful warm glow, like having a ball of sunshine in the room.

Hi, I have had to return mine as it did inexplicably shatter into many, many pieces. I guess I was unlucky re the lamp as I dont see other instances in the reviews but lucky no one was near it. Although the bits of glass were numerous I would not necessarily describe them as shards some of the pieces were not sharp per se.
