A really good battery razor especially for travel.
A very good choice for a battery razor especially for travel, it’s light, compact, and while it may not have the closest cut on the market the batteries last for ages plus it’s really tough unlike most foil razors where the foil can be quite fragile. It uses two AA batteries so if you’re struggling with your baggage weight limit ditch the batteries and buy some at your destination.

Gives a smooth shave.
I bought this item a few weeks ago. I wanted to use it for a quick on the go shave, or a shave to keep me clean, smooth and smart when I don't have a wet shave. This razor give me a lovely smooth shave and is very comfortable to use. I highly recommend it.

Hard to beat the service convenience
My existing Philips razor stopped working suddenly and I wanted a quick replacement of the same type. Onto the Argos website, place a click and collect order, head round to Sainsburys with the in-store Argos counter (4 miles away) to pick up. Back home inside an hour with whiskery crisis over. Hard to beat this convenience and service.

Better than Braun?
Bought as a cheap stand-by to replace an (expensive) Braun foil shaver which had to be returned to the manufacturer for repair. It works surprisingly well for the money. Not as good as the Braun, but not that far behind either. Given the price, you are unlikely to be disappointed with this Philips shaver.

Great product, use on foreign holidays as unlike rechargeable shaver can go in hold luggage. One set of batteries lasted the full two week holiday. As good a shave but slightly slower than my three head s he aver at home

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Philips PQ206/18 Dry Electric Shaver 443/6759: This device can only be used Cordless with 2AA batteries. On the Service manual it states 2 x AA LR6 battery. LR6 batteries come in both rechargeable and none rechargeable variants. So yes rechargeable batteries can be used.
