Use your hob to control your hood – With a smart automatic Bosch hood, the Cooktop-based Hood Control and the Home Connect app you can focus on cooking. Turn on your hob and the hood will switch on and extract steam as soon as you start cooking. When you're done cooking, the hood automatically switches off after a brief run-on time, so you can be sure that unpleasant kitchen odours really do disappear.
More heat when you need it - Power Boost is our smart, time-saving cooking hack. Want to boil your pasta water in less than a minute? Simply activate Power Boost to heat it much faster.
Pause function – You can pause the heating and block all buttons on the hob. No matter whether the doorbell rings, a call comes in or you just want to clean the glass surface in between. Simply continue cooking latest after 10 minutes.
Cooking starts much faster - The QuickStart function knows where you have placed your pan and automatically displays the corresponding cooking zone on the control interface. You can get started straight away and select the desired cooking level without delay.

Great hob for use
Induction Hob
Excellent hob - large and easy to use
Having used a large gas range cooker for 20 years followed by 18 months of using a dreadful electric ceramic hob we recently had this induction hob installed with a new kitchen. While still not the same as a large gas range hob it's the next best thing. The layout of the 5 heating zones gives a very spacious feel. The controls are clear and easy to use and the changes in temperature very responsive. The 'boost' function brings a pan of water to the boil very quickly. Exceptionally easy to clean - we use a damp cloth followed by a micropore duster. We haven't found any downsides yet.

Style, space and simplicity
Plenty of surface to accommodate all types of pans. Touch controls work well. Controllability is fantastic. Works well with an induction adapter plate for non compatible pans.

Very good, but expensive
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My old Bosch induction hob lasted for 20 years, so this was a straight replacement. It fitted in the worktop perfectly with easy electrical connections. It is almost silent in use. Most of the instructions were in German and the electrical diagram was unclear to me.
