Need storage but love the idea of a minimalist home? Our Scandi inspired Jakob double bed frame could be just the ticket. Not only does it look fabulous with soft woven fabric upholstery, simple lines and wooden feet, but it also has ottoman storage underneath and hidden storage in the slanted headboard. Accessed at the foot end, the ottoman storage has a gas lift mechanism so it's easy to open. And inside the headboard, there are shelves all beautifully finished in coordinating wood effect to complete that Scandi look.

Excellent bed base!!!
Excellent bed base!!! My son bought his about four years ago and it’s still as good as new. On that recommendation we bought two for our house. Sturdy, great storage, particularly the headboard section. And a really good price too. Only slight niggle was the boxes arrived damaged but after unpacking everything was fine.

Great bed would buy again!
Have waited a while and checked reviews to buy this bed. My son has wanted to get rid of his single bed for a while and this is what he chose. When it came there was a lot of parts, I don't mind flat pack but we are not pro's at it. We took note from one of the reviews that said build the mattress base and slats first then put aside, I'm glad we did as we wouldn't have had the room to build the bed then the mattress base in the bedroom. We started the bed build and instructions were great the only thing we found was the last screw and pre drilled hole wasn't lined up but once we'd tightened every screw on the bed it just all slotted into place......relieved!! The gas lift was a bit scary as you had to pull down quite hard to click it into place but no problem at all after. I would definitely buy this bed again although there are lots of parts and lots of instructions if you follow correctly it makes a great bed. Took us nearly 2 hours but worthit.

Good Bed, amazing storage!
Really happy with my purchase. I put it together in about 3.5 hours by myself. It was very straightforward...I got a bit stuck with the last bit as I couldn't pull the bed down but it worked when I put the mattress on it and it pulled down. Loads of space under the bed and the shelves behind the headboard are a genius invention. Very comfy and feels good quality. The bottom fabric bit for under the bed isn't great and is a bit pointless with just some velcro holding it on, but it doesn't really alter the fact that I'm really happy with this.

The bed arrived after a very smooth delivery. It took a couple of hours to put together and it now looks as we wanted. It has oodles of storage space, the mechanism works well and we are delighted with it.

Great Storage Bed!
Bought this bed for the extra storage & it doesn’t disappoint. Ample room to keep everything hidden away! Great for storing bedding & books in the headboard! Instructions were very easy to follow & took me & my son 1.5 hours to put together! Would definitely recommend.
