Need storage but love the idea of a minimalist home? Our Scandi inspired Jakob double bed frame could be just the ticket. Not only does it look fabulous with soft woven fabric upholstery, simple lines and wooden feet, but it also has ottoman storage underneath and hidden storage in the slanted headboard. Accessed at the foot end, the ottoman storage has a gas lift mechanism so it's easy to open. And inside the headboard, there are shelves all beautifully finished in coordinating wood effect to complete that Scandi look.

Amazing deal on an amazing bed
I’ve bought this bed a month ago and so far so good only have good things to say about it. The material is soft and sturdy where it needs to be and the slats make no noise no matter how much you move at night, the lift system works flawlessly. If I had to complain I’d say the assembly is very difficult especially when doing it on your own as the pieces are heavy and require more than 2 hands in order to bolt together. All in all great results and I’m happy with my purchase!

So much storage!
Love this bed. It was fairly easy to put together. Has so much storage space, not only under the bed but in the headboard too. I also like the fact that the headboard is angled slightly backwards therefore is very comfy when sitting up in bed. Overall I would definitely recommend this bed.

Lovely sturdy frame
It's a great frame and we love the addition of the shelves hidden in the headboard There is a dust cover for the underneath which is great for using the ottomon part of the bed Nowhere in the description does it say about a maximum depth of the mattress ( I think it was 44cm from memory) and it also doesn't state there is a maximum weight for thr ottomon lift, we got a good mattrrto go with the bed but sadly too heavy to support the weight the lifts can hold so it won't stay open! Double check how much it can hold!!

Faulty frame
The frame came with a defect, the spring loaders were not strong enough to hold the mattress. We are now awaiting a replacement in the new year.
