Rubbish

Doesn’t fit a pa5 controller and just a cheap bit of plastic would never recommed anyone to buy it defiantly not worth the money

Bought recently, was not expecting much, but its actually quite good if you cant afford or dont want a full wheel setup, Works good in Gran Turismo 7 and other racing games.

Surpised

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the product, way above my expectations. Bought as a gift for my dad but wasn’t compatible with the games he plays but if you play proper racing games like GT etc you’ll likely be surprised how convenient it is and the quality it’s made with! Family thought it cost like 3x more than it actually was

Good for the money

But you need ti check which games accommodate motion detection for the steering wheel as this is manually operated with no connection to your console.

Great product - works really well with GT7

Well made, sturdy and looks fab. Works really nicely with GT7 on PS5 and I like using it on my PC through Steam where I can play most racing games using the Gyro Mode.

Seems good. No games that supports it.

I got it couple of weeks ago thinking it will be a great addition to my ps5 but I noticed that only few games are supporting the motion sensor steering. Due to this issue i couldn't use it properly(I tried about 7 racing and in non of them it worked). Only thing I can state is the fact, that it is made out of solid plastic, the controller fits nicely and secure inside of it. Overall if you have forza 7, I belive it will work great for the price but if you do not have it just dont bother, you might waste your money.

Affordable and good for a starter!

The **Gioteck FR5 DualSense Wheel for PS5** offers a straightforward solution for players seeking a more immersive racing experience on the PlayStation 5. Designed specifically for the PS5’s DualSense controller, the FR5 essentially turns your controller into a makeshift racing wheel, giving users better grip and a sense of control without the need for a full racing rig. ### Key Features and Build Quality The FR5 is a lightweight, clip-on wheel that easily attaches to the DualSense controller. Made from durable plastic, it has a slightly rubberized grip to help maintain a firm hold during gameplay. The build quality is decent for an accessory in this price range, but it’s worth noting that this is a relatively budget item compared to full-fledged racing wheels, which means it may not feel as robust or premium as high-end racing accessories. One of the primary appeals of the FR5 is that it allows you to experience racing games with a wheel-like feel without investing in a costly, dedicated racing wheel setup. The clip-on design is intuitive, and the wheel’s shape and size feel reasonably comfortable for extended play sessions. ### Performance and Compatibility In terms of gameplay, the FR5 enhances the immersion of games like *Gran Turismo 7* and *F1 2022*, giving a more natural turning motion compared to using the joystick alone. However, keep in mind that this is still an accessory for a regular controller rather than a full racing wheel. The FR5 doesn’t provide any additional functionality or force feedback, so you won’t get the same nuanced feedback or precise handling as you would with a true racing wheel setup. The FR5 fits well and snugly with the DualSense, and while it does take a bit of adjustment to get used to the wheel-style control scheme, it’s fairly intuitive. The weight of the DualSense is evenly distributed within the wheel’s frame, making it comfortable for longer gaming sessions. ### Pros - **Affordable:** Much cheaper than a traditional racing wheel setup. - **Easy to Install:** Simple clip-on design makes it accessible and quick to use. - **Enhanced Immersion:** Offers a more engaging experience for racing games than the standard controller. ### Cons - **No Force Feedback:** Limited to the standard DualSense feedback, so it doesn’t match the realism of higher-end wheels. - **Limited Precision:** Compared to full racing wheels, the FR5 lacks the finer control needed for serious racing enthusiasts. - **Basic Build Quality:** Durable but may feel somewhat plasticky to some users. ### Final Verdict The Gioteck FR5 DualSense Wheel is a solid accessory for casual gamers who want an enhanced racing experience on a budget. While it doesn’t offer the precision or feedback of a dedicated racing wheel, it’s a fun and affordable way to increase immersion for racing games on the PS5. Serious racing fans may find it lacking in functionality, but for casual players, it’s an excellent alternative that adds a nice level of engagement without breaking the bank.
