About this product
The Argos Home Bentley Kingsize TV Ottoman Bed combines built-in entertainment and hidden storage in one frame. It lets you watch TV from bed without wall mounts or stands. The footboard holds a TV up to 43 inches and lifts it into view. A built-in 2.1 sound system provides clear audio without extra speakers, while a remote and USB-C port let you control everything from under the covers. The hydraulic ottoman lifts the mattress base to reveal storage for bedding or clothes. Grey velvet upholstery with button detailing keeps the frame neat, ideal for smaller bedrooms.
The footboard has a dedicated slot underneath where you can position home cinema equipment and connect it to the TV, so everything's hidden away and ready to go. There's minimal space underneath, just 3cm, so the frame sits close to the floor and keeps the profile low. Assembly takes two people and includes clear instructions. Don’t hesitate to get this bed
I’m loving this bed. I needed both a decent sized bed & high. Fancied a tv that can be hidden away in the bedroom so this was perfect. Amazing quality & strong. Took my daughter & her partner hours to build but, then my daughter is a perfectionist! With the lady name mattress I’m having the best sleep in years… I’ve even topped 2 family & 1friend into buying one for themselves. It was a bargain also with a reduction & then a 20% code on top. My only snag is I’m old & the small material loop to lift ottoman is hard for my arthritis & I live along. Pity you didn’t make it remote control on the remote for elevating the tv up & down.

Great bed
Great bed, was a couple of hour to build although a lot of that was fitting the tv. Really good quality bed. Tv mechanism works well but speaker very average, we didn’t buy for the speaker so glad I wasn’t expecting much. Speaker do work with Bluetooth which good. We got in sale so good value.

Great bed frame!
Bough this a couple of weeks ago. Put this together on my own which took around 5 hours. Looks great and works well (both the TV and Ottoman side lift mechanism) TV attachment was a little fiddly but once it was attached, no problems whatsoever.

Great bed nice features and colour
Many thanks to the delivery team, they were very professional (and strong), and advised me of what to do if I found any faults (keep the boxes until everything is checked). It is very heavy, yes it took several hours to build, the instructions were clear and included handy tips. This is my second tv bed, the lift mechanism is smooth and quieter than the first and the ottoman function is very very helpful. My only complaint would be a 12 month warranty for a bed frame is not really long enough, it would be a good option to offer an extension to this at time of purchase, as I expect to have the frame for at least 10 years.

Poor manufacturing
The manufacturing of the bed is awful. Our order had a broken part (the bracket that holds the TV!) and two missing brackets inside it. We arranged for replacements and again the parts were broken and missing. It took two weeks and three deliveries for us to be able to build the bed. Absolutely awful quality control! Argos customer service were lovely but I expect better from an expensive bed! Now that it's build it's a great bed, but not sure if it was worth the hassle!!

Our supplier has advised that the Argos Home Bentley Double 2.1 Sound TV Ottoman Bed - Grey is supplied with a power lead and it does need to be plugged in for all of the functions to work. The TV plugs into a power socket in the footboard of the bed this then cuts the power to the TV when it is lowered into the footboard. The power lead supplied is 3.5m long.
