Smart looking turntable
Lovely looking turntable, already set up from unboxing, can sometimes be tricky to pair to Bluetooth device and seems to play records a little slow, I have experienced some distortion of sound with a few records but unsure if this is just because it is connected via Bluetooth, maybe hard wiring speakers would fix this. Decent little set up though for the first turntable I have owned in over 30 years

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this for free from Influenster for my honest review. Being of a certain age, I did used to have a record player which was attached to my hi-fi, but it has been a while since I used a record player and what a record player this is. It was easy enough to setup and the sound quality was incredible. I did try the record player by plugging it into my normal speakers and through some pa speakers and it sounded the same through both sets of speakers. The record player looks sleek and even though it’s quite lightweight the build quality feels quite sturdy. I also like the fact that it has a felt mat included on the turntable so the underside of your record doesn’t get damaged/slip whilst it’s on the turntable. I’ve really enjoyed using this and playing some of my old records and I’m even considering adding to my record collection so I can carry on using this. The only minor gripe I had was after an hour or two the record player did start to turn itself off even when a record was playing, but this may be a feature to stop it from overheating, which is why I’ve knocked a star off, but that was the only minor issue I’ve had.

Yes, you can easily replace the stylus for another stylus of the same type (AT3600). However, you cannot upgrade to a different type of stylus, this turntable is only compatible with the AT3600.

You need to look for an active powered speaker, that can be plugged into the RCA line-out ports at the back of the turntable. There are instructions in the quick start guide provided.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the House of Marley EM-JT004-SB Belt-Drive Revolution Turntable: ''We can confirm that the felt mat on this turntable is made from recycled PET, meaning it contains no wool or other animal-derived materials.
For other parts of this model, we make every effort to avoid animal-derived substances. For example, our fabric materials include organic cotton, reclaimed hemp, and recycled PET, while the plastic housing is made from recycled ABS. However, we cannot guarantee the complete absence of animal-derived substances, as some small electronic components—such as PCBs, capacitors, or adhesives—may occasionally include trace amounts of animal-based materials. Historically, certain adhesives have contained small amounts of gelatin, although this is becoming less common.
Currently, we haven't been able to audit the inclusion of animal product at this smaller component level due to our size, but we're committed to increasing our transparency and are continually exploring ways to improve here.''
