Disappointed..
I've reported this to anker supporr. After the firsr charge, the battery went flat after 2 days. Did some adjustments. And it still went flat after 5 days. I'm out of the country so i'm not able to use this. I was asked to have it replaced. Will do it when i'm back. I got this because of reviews and you don't need to have a subscription so i'm really disappointed.

Mixed Reviews but...
I bought this Eufy camera recently. Even though it had mixed reviews, I liked the look of it! To be fair it was a little bigger than anticipated but that was ok. It was so easy to set up, it works a treat in the day and night, so I even bought one for my back door! Absolutely no complaints , it does everything I want it to. It is a little slow to play back as noted in other reviews but you still have your recorded pic , so I found it to be just fine.

Rift C31 Video door bell. Pleased now set up.
Beware this unit requires a 24v system with enough grunt to work when wired into an existing chime. UK door bells are normally 8 volt. I had to order a 24v chime from America as my old 8 volt bell would fail or damage the system (Amazon £25 and delivered in 4 days 10/10) also had to change the 8v transformer to a 24v unit but unfortunately a standard 24v door bell transformer (0.33A or 7.9Va) did not have enough juice, requiring a swap to a more powerful 40va unit. Total additional cost now £81, with careful shopping. Do your homework and if you are not comfortable working with electricity get competent help or just run from its rechargeable battery and buy the compatible plug in chime or use via Alexa. No complaints now it works and the bonus is no monthly subscription charges. I would recommend this product.

It’s ok
I bought this around 3 weeks ago and the reason for purchasing this product was because you don’t need to pay a subscription. The good parts. It works … to a certain degree 😂. Negatives. It was slightly difficult trying to connect the doorbell to the phone app to set up. You have to scan with the doorbell something on the phone which can be abit hit or miss took us a few try’s. Now to the actual doorbell. It seems to be abit laggy in the sense of if the doorbell alerts you of motion or even someone ringing the doorbell you get the notification around 5 seconds later then when it actually happened. We set up our own perimeter of what we want to be notificated for and some time you get notifications for stuff out side of that. First charge lasted around a week where I’ve had Tapo doorbells that dont need charging for a month. However if you can put up with these slight annoyances it’s well worth not paying for a subscription service

Excellent full featured video doorbell
I purchased the Eufy video doorbell after.my Ring doorbell corroded and stop working. I chose the Eufy as it advertised that no monthly subscription was required, which was a big plus for me. The Eufy was so easy to setup with the easy to follow instruction. I particularly like to component which allows you to angle the camera. This is a first class product and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a doorbell

Hi,
eufy C31 2K Smart Video Doorbell with 32GB MicroSD Card
The Eufy C31 2K Smart Video Doorbell is not officially compatible with the Homebase 2 hub, and full functionality requires a Homebase 3 or a compatible Eufy chime.
Key Information on Compatibility
The Eufy C31 is designed to work seamlessly with Homebase 3 (S380) or Eufy Minibase Chime (T8023) to enable features such as local storage expansion, AI management, and cross-device functionality
Homebase 2 is not compatible with the C31, meaning that pairing the doorbell with Homebase 2 will not provide official support for features like motion detection, 24/7 recording, or centralized device management
While technically you might attempt integration using third-party smart home systems like Home Assistant, this is not officially supported and could require additional configuration, with unpredictable reliability.
