Missing parts etc but came good in the end.
We brought this item nearly 3 weeks again. It wasn't easy to put together because parts where missing. We had to go back to the branch twice for them to re-order again for the parts that were missing, but was found in the second re-order. Not only that, the tension cable was inserted incorrectly and the pedals where on the wrong side, which we found out when my husband removed the covers. It was good that my husband had a bike in his younger days and found and fixed these issues. Now that we have a working training, we are very pleased with it, but we shouldn't have had to chase for the missing parts or fix the cable and switch the pedals.

It was so organised in the box made it simple to put together. It’s decently solid made. Was easy to use the program settings. Works perfectly I would definitely recommend this product. It also was on time delivery.

It's hard going
There was a lot to assemble, and instructions not quite so clear at times. I agree with a previous reviewer that the tension hook was difficult to connect and now all the tensions to me seem quite stiff. I would normally do 20 mins plus easily on a cross trainer at the gym but with this one on any setting I can barely do a couple of minutes without feeling exhausted and my heart pounding, it feels a hard push and it does sound creaky so unfortunately I don't enjoy using it, I can only do short interval bursts of it then have to do other exercise alongside instead. its too much faff now to un-assemble it and to try to send it back. plus I've tried to oil parts to ease the creaky noises. Also foot plates wouldn't be very good for say a larger big footed person as I'm a size 7 and they just about fit in width etc. I'm disappointed I can't use it for a longer session as I wanted. Its just so stiff.

Practical but noisy
Bought this when I moved into a new area and needed something to keep me active at home whilst I was looking for a local gym to join. It arrived in 2 parts split over two boxes and the delivery staff were lovely. First time they popped by they forgot one of the boxes but were so apologetic and immediately made sure the 2nd box was delivered same day within a few hours even though I'm a bit more remote. Assembly was very straightforward and with a easy to follow instruction booklet and came with tools to do so so you don't need your own. Once assembled I found it was great for size and moved smoothly and fit nicely in the dining room. Sadly after using it 3-4 times a week after a few weeks it began to squeaky and creak really loudly, enough I could hear it over my own headphones playing music. I thought it needed more of the grease it came with in the moving bar joints but actually it was the washers against the metal framework. When I removed the bolts/washers it stopped making so much noise but then wouldn't be as safe to use. I found adding my own cut out felt padding between the bolts and the washers and metalwork really helped to fix this. But over time it will creak with use as is a given. Overall happy with this purchase and would recommend argos gym equipment if you're unable to get set up straight away at a proper gym. I used to also own the foldaway exercise bike but I have now since found a decent gym so will be gifting these to my in laws.

Cross Trainer
I could no longer afford the gym, this was my most favourite to go on at the gym. So I purchased this and from the start it squeeks and makes so much noise. I tried putting on WD40, but made no different. Its so stiff to use, even on lowest setting, that I cant even do 10 minutes on it.

Great exerciser
I wanted an exercise machine for an all body workout that goes easy on my joints. This is really good as it does just that. It's not a running or walking machine, it doesn't feel natural enough, but I feel its built toned muscle & strength even after 2 weeks. Build is good & stable and doesn't take up too much room. Monitor distance is no good so I just use the timer, which is fine
