For a light resistance band, this seems pretty strong and resistant. The colour is good and the band seems very strong and nice thick material. It does have a very strong rubbery smell.

Hello Jockie, Yes, the resistance band can be suitable for people with arthritic hands, as it offers light, joint-friendly resistance. However, it may be uncomfortable if gripping is painful. Using padded grips or a band with handles, starting gently, and stopping if pain increases is recommended. Thank you for using Q&A!
