This compact plug-in camera delivers 1080p HD video indoors or outdoors and doubles as a chime for your Blink Video Doorbell. The built-in spotlight provides colour night vision up to 6m, so you can see in complete darkness. Motion detection alerts you instantly, and two-way audio lets you speak through the camera. Paired with the included weather-resistant adapter, the IP65-rated Mini 2 can be safely mounted outside to handle rain, wind and British weather.
Setup is simple with DIY installation, and the kit includes the Mini 2 camera, stand, mounting screws, USB cable, indoor power adapter, and weather-resistant adapter. Add the Mini 2 to any Blink system for group arm, disarm and scheduling, giving control over multiple cameras. It works with Alexa for voice control to view live streams, arm or disarm, and playback motion clips hands-free. Recording requires a subscription (sold separately), with unlimited video recording supported. Great connection don't bother with subscription.
Added this camera to my existing Blink home network. Really easy to connect and wifi connection very stable. Wide angle picture quality is great. The camera comes with a free trial subscription to the Blink cloud server which then requires ongoing payments when the trial ends. However the subscription is not necessary as recordings can be stored locally by inserting a compatible USB stick into the Blink sync module which still gives you 90% of the camera features. Certainly good enough for a home system.

This camera is amazing, the picture is clear. I’ve got it outside my front door and you connect it to the app and when it is armed it will take pictures of everyone that passes by or comes into your garden and it will film them so it’s great for security. It’s got a light feature on it so at night time you can switch that on and off as you please and you can also talk to people through the microphone. I bought this camera to keep an eye on my front garden and it has not let me down so far. It comes with a weather proof lead.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Blink Mini 2 Security Camera & Weather Resistant Adapter: Unfortunately the Blink Mini 2 Security camera is not 5GHz compatible, this only supports a 2.4GHz network.

Yes it can be mounted outside and then plugged inside using the weather resistant cable. I have mine set up like this except the cable goes through a wooden panel not a window. It also comes with an indoor plug and cable to either use for inside the room or pointing outside through the glass. Depending where you put it, it will probably reflect through glass and will definitely reflect through glass if night vision is on. Any kind of light is enough for night vision to work though.

Just buy a 10M long USB-C charging cable. That should be enough to reach inside the house, and keep the power supply inside also.

Yes this camera does come with the cable hence the name! I bought one today.
Blink Mini 2 Security Camera and Weather Resistant Adapter. The cheaper camera does not come with the cable.
