Lamp Base crafted with Mango Wood. With brass finish on metal gives the product a rich look, We recommend a 45 - 49cm shade with this base. A quirky addition to your home decor, this floor lamp features a circular base with spherical bobbin.

Fabulous value.
I have a pair of these lamps. Had to swap one over as it was a bit bowed but Argos staff were extremely helpful. They are really solid and look amazing. I have the table lamps to match and have painted them - they look much more expensive than they are.

I really liked the design

Great lamp but wonky
I bought this 3/4 weeks ago. I cannot get the top section straight so looks wonky, but don’t want to return it as love the general look. I wanted to replace it but failed miserably to talk to someone or arrange a replacement. After many attempts online I gave up so still have the wonky lamp !

A little shorter than expected (my fault for not checking). Because it comes in sections you can on one joint see it's the joint which is a really shame. Nice heavy base.

Faulty
I bought this online. I live 40 miles away from my nearest store. Knew I was going near the store the next day. Great so far✅ Took it home put it together, well tried to, but because of very poor workmanship the lamp didn’t stand upright and wobbled as soon as you touched it. The problem was a faulty thread joining the upright. Took it back next week, another 80 mile round trip ( couldn’t get it collected because it was an online purchase). Bought another lamp from a different retailer.

Nice at the sale price
Whilst these floor lamps look nice once assembled, they are fiddly to put together. They seem very solid and do not wobble but the sections do need to be tightened every now and then. I haven't bought any shades yet as I am waiting for the decorating to be finished. However, I am glad bought these in a sale as for their full price they would not have been value for money and I would have been returning them.

The lamp is designed for use exclusively with LED bulbs up to a maximum of 9 watts.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Habitat Bobbin Mango Wood Floor Lamp Base: It does not come assembled, you will need to attach the shade to the base, which comes boxed.

I can confirm the wire position on all three colours of the Habitat Bobbin Mango Wood Floor Lamp Base is attached to the side of the base. This may appear slightly different in the images due to the position of the lamp base.
