Exactly what I needed!
I bought this hand mixer a short while ago and it has certainly done exactly what it said 'on the tin'! It is small but sturdy and I am delighted with my purchase.

Powerful handmixer.
I bought this to replace an older Kenwood mixer which was looking very tired. The option to choose a colour was appealing as I didn't want one in white. It is powerful with several speed settings. I purchased this model due to the dough hooks being included. My only suggestion for improvement would be to have a longer lead, as it comes out on the right hand side of the mixer, thus making it feel shorter when plugged to the left to where i am working or for those being left handed. The performance outshines the lead issue.

I bought this mixer as a replacement for the previous Kenwood mixer as that one proved to be reliable, easy to use and great for everyone in the household to use! The speed settings on the mixer allow it to be used on various recipes and is excellent in mixing up great cakes and bakes.

With the Kenwood HMP30 Electric Hand Mixer it's important not to operate the mixer continuously for too long. For the beaters, the maximum operation time is 6 minutes, followed by a 15-minute rest period. Overheating can occur if these guidelines aren't followed, especially with thicker mixtures like cupcake frosting.

The beaters are 18cm long, approximately 3.5cm of which go inside the unit.
This gives an effective length of about 14.5cm.
Whether this is suitable will depend on the specific recipe you are using and the size of your mixing bowl. As a rule these should be suitable for making cake batter.
