About this product
Enjoy a light keyboard feel that makes piano playing fun! Maybe you want to learn how to play the piano, but the keys feel so heavy you think your fingers will tire out; or maybe you think your fingers aren't strong enough to achieve sufficiently strong fortes. It would be a shame to let such trivial concerns discourage you from playing the piano. The Piaggero's light keyboard feel lets you experience the joy of playing a keyboard.
Link with Smart Pianist for even more convenience: Connect the instrument to Yamaha's free Smart Pianist app, developed exclusively for use with Yamaha's digital pianos, for even more intuitive operation than when operating the instrument itself.
Powerful, resonant sound: Yamaha's acoustic technology furnishes the Piaggero's powerful sound - a sound that belies its compact size, featuring resonant grand piano-style bass notes and beautifully detailed treble tones.
It's just so light! You can take it anywhere: "Piaggero, " the name of the NP-35 Series, combines "Piano" with the word "leggero, " a musical term meaning, "light. " As the name states, the NP-35 is extremely light, even for a portable keyboard, so that you can take it anywhere.
Basic operations are easy! A minimalist design with only functions you need: The Piaggero is an instrument for people who love the piano. Its modern design features aspects that are reminiscent of a piano and focuses on only the most practical functions.

Very Good and Very Bad
The very good: I want to learn to play the piano and so far this product along with the trial of the on-line Flowkey application is helping me to do this. Flowkey listens to what you are playing and waits for you to hit the correct notes. The very bad: I am still waiting for a working sustain pedal to be delivered. It was originally missing, and unfortunately the one sent later did not work. I am told that it will take about 2 weeks for a replacement to be sent.

Typical Yamaha high quality product!
Bought this as a portable Church instrument. It has an excellent organ sound and the same with the piano sound. My only critisism is the lack of an outgoing port for external speakers which could give a stronger base.

Piano I didn’t know I needed!
Our little family absolutely adore our new Yamaha NP35 Digital Piano from Argos! It’s got a sleek, stylish look but also feels super sturdy - definitely built to last. The keys have a lovely touch, and it’s really easy to use, even for complete beginners - like my kids and me! In my opinion sound quality it’s outstanding. You can even adjust your touch sensitivity and use sound boost function what making whole playing experience much more enjoyable. You can connect it by USB port. I like the control centre it’s easy to use and navigate. You can also use battery powered option and play anywhere you want. The best part! Whole family got involved and we made a little jam session. Now whole family wants to create music together.

Great piano for learning!
I was really pleasantly surprised by this piano when opening the box, it is very well made and has some really good features. My son has been learning the piano at school and wanted to get one as he was really enjoying it but we just didn’t have the space for a conventional one. This is so much better as it is light weight and can be easily moved and stored away when not using. I really liked the fact that you can control the volume so it suited everyone in the house, also my son really liked the features of the piano especially the fact you can record yourself and listen back which is really good if you are just learning. His teacher had giving him some music home and the holder attachment made if so easy for him to read while playing. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking the get into playing the piano!

High-quality digital piano!!
I recently got the Yamaha Piaggero 76-key digital piano, and it’s been a great addition to my setup. As someone who already owns Yamaha guitars, I had high expectations for the build quality—and Yamaha definitely delivered. The craftsmanship on this keyboard is excellent. It feels solid and well-made, even though it’s incredibly lightweight and portable. It’s the kind of keyboard you can easily move around or take to a rehearsal or gig without any hassle. The 76-key layout is a perfect middle ground. It gives you more room than a standard 61-key without the full bulk of an 88-key. Great for playing with both hands or working on more complex pieces. The keys themselves have a soft-touch feel—not fully weighted, but still responsive and comfortable to play. They have just the right amount of resistance to make dynamic playing possible without feeling heavy. I really appreciate the simplicity of the controls. You can easily change sounds or settings without digging through menus. The built-in speakers are surprisingly clear and loud for a keyboard this slim, and with headphones, the sound quality is even better. The piano tones are clean and expressive, and there are a few nice extras like strings and electric pianos to experiment with. In my opinion, Yamaha nailed the balance between functionality and portability here. While it’s not designed to fully replicate the feel of a grand piano, the Piaggero is a joy to play and incredibly convenient. The same attention to detail I’ve experienced with my Yamaha guitars is clearly present here too. If you’re looking for a high-quality digital piano that’s easy to transport but still delivers great sound and feel, I’d highly recommend the Piaggero.

A Brilliant Piano for Beginners and Pros Alike!
We recently got the Yamaha NP35 for my son, who has just started learning piano — and it’s been absolutely perfect for him! The 76-note keyboard offers a great balance between a full range and a more compact size, making it less intimidating for beginners while still being more than enough for more advanced pieces. The touch sensitivity is really impressive and gives a more realistic, expressive feel that helps him understand dynamics as he learns. It also sounds fantastic — the sampled grand piano tone is rich and clear, which makes it a joy to listen to while he practices. Even as someone who’s dabbled in music myself, I can say this digital piano is a solid choice for more experienced players too. Whether you're using it for practice, composing, or even casual gigging, it's got the quality and features you'd expect from Yamaha. Lightweight, sleek, and easy to move around the house — it ticks all the boxes for us. Highly recommend for anyone from beginners to pros!

Great for around the house
Perfect sized professional piano to move around the home or take on the go. Despite its size, the performance is epic. I tested both with annd without good quality headphones and sound quality was ideal both times. The keys are weighted and feel like the real deal. Once again the brand lives up to its name.

Stunning keyboard
Really lovely piano keyboard. It is very lightweight for the size so easy to move between rooms. The keys are so smooth when playing and the sound is beautiful, not tinny at all. There are different sound settings but I prefer the standard one. It has several songs pre loaded that my kids like to play and then play over the top of. This is great for my daughter who is just starting to learn to play. It’s made me get back out all my old music to start playing again!

Great quality digital piano
This digital piano has lots of really good points. It would suit all levels from beginner to the more experienced player. The sound quality is excellent and the keys are nice and smooth to the touch, not clunky like other keyboards. Its a good size, easy to set up and use. It doesn't come with a stand so this would have to be purchased separately if you wanted one.
