The Kaycie Mid Sleeper gives you a raised single bed that's low enough for bedtime cuddles but high enough to free up useful floor space underneath. It's made from solid pine, a natural wood that stays strong through years of use. The space below the sleeping deck works well for a play den, storage or tucking in a chest of drawers to keep clothes and toys organised. The ladder can go on either side to suit your room layout, and the moderate height makes it easier to change sheets and tuck in children at bedtime. Recommended for ages six and over, it's also tested for adult use.

The frame includes wooden slats that support the mattress and keep air circulating. A safety rail runs along the open side to prevent rolling out during sleep. The bed must be fixed to the wall for stability, with all necessary fixings included. Maximum user weight is 120kg, so it handles everyday use and the occasional parental perch. Supplied with a Habitat medium-feel open coil mattress that's 16cm deep and includes anti-allergy properties. Self-assembly required, two people recommended for straightforward setup.
