About this product

Two pull chains with wooden detailing let you control fan speed and light separately, so you can adjust them exactly how you like.
It uses a single E27 golfball bulb up to 10 watts, so you can choose your preferred light colour and brightness. The 43cm drop works well in rooms with standard ceiling heights, and installation is straightforward as it fits in place of your existing ceiling light. All fixings are included, and it's powered by your room's main light switch. The IP20 rating makes it suitable for indoor use, and it's built to keep performing reliably day after day. Having checked I can see as long as this is switched on at the wall you are able to turn off the light and have the fan running using the pull cords on the fitting.

Yes. We use it at night. 2 pull switches. 1 controls light on off, other is 3 speeds if fan.

The shade for the Argos Home Ceiling Fan - Chrome & Grey, is white. The yellow colour is the bulb it will be a warm white bulb that is in the picture. If you do not want that colour you just need to select a different colour bulb as long as it is the correct bulb for the light.
