Had this remote now about 3 months and it has worked flawlessly with my LG smart TV from out of the box. Bought for 92yr old father to use and he manages perfectly.

The Instructions Could be Better
I bought this a few days ago, hoping to control two TV's with it. It controlled my Samsung straight out the box. I then set about trying to set it up to control the second TV (an LG). This proved to be a bit difficult. After quite a few hours, I did get the 2 TV's to respond. The key step was going on to Google and asking " How to set up urc6821 to control 2 tv sets" which was answered by Google AI. Be aware, however, that sometimes, when you ask Google AI the exact same question, it can give different answers. I don't think I would have got it working using the instructions supplied with the remote. I'm 72, and perhaps not as sharp as I used to be.
