Brilliant table lamps
I have been looking at these lamps for a while now, and finally, this week, I bought 2 for my lounge. I love the vombination of wood with brass hold look on the base and the top. They are solid looking and really make a nice statement in my home.

this lamp base I matched with a dark green lampshade also from Argos and the two are a perfect match. The lamp is well finished and gives a statement when placed in a room. The wood lends a warmth you can only get from that material. A well made and well priced piece that adds a touch of class

Great lamp base. Heavy and good quality. Looks good with my Mid Century furniture. I also ordered the green coolie shade advertised in the pictures. Look good together. Had to remove the inner shade collar as it didnt fit on the lamp. Its bigger in reality than looks in the picture.

Third time lucky!
Great design and increidbly stylish but...Be aware. The brass on the bottom of the lamp is very thin and two of the lamps we purchased were dented. One of them had a faulty switch and would not stay on as well as the dented brass. One had two dents in the brass at the bottom which were very noticeable. After lots of messing about with CS and returns, we finally got a third one which was fine. The lamp is very sturdy and incredibly heavy. It is a decent height and can accommodate a range of shades. As it is wood, the shades vary so much, so if you are purchasing two, be aware that they will probably not be the same colour. One of ours was dark, then light then mid tone. There are descrepancies in the wood, but these add to the charm.
