Great radio, poor Argos
The radio is wonderful and highly recommended. However, the plug was faulty and it’s impossible to explain that online - all you can do is return the whole thing and reorder. Same story in store. Just another aspect of corporate conglomerates putting all their customers into small boxes

UPTO THEIR USUAL STANDARD
I have had many Pure radios over the years and all have been good. One thing they might need to look at is the main OFF/ON button. Different designs have had different issues. With this one, there have been a few occasions where the buttons have 'stuck': that is, I cannot change channel or switch it off. It might be an electrical supply blip which does it but I am not sure. I have to kill the power to reset it.

Pure radio
Brought this radio after mine broke got to say it’s a great radio sound is really good. There’s that many channels my old one only had 20 channels and I could only find about four of them definitely recommend. It’s compact easy to use.

Great radio
I bought a Pure DAB radio many years ago when they were first launched. It worked well but with the introduction of DAB+ format it could receive less and less stations. Finally it failed totally. I bought a new Pure radio and it is excellent. I note that it also functions as a clock. Brilliant!

Having looked into this, the snooze can be activated by pressing any button other than "Standby". As pressing Standby will turn it off completely.
