Johnson’s Matt emulsion
Not good for walls full of problems. My mist coat of this on some bits of naked plaster washed off with further painting. Once I’d got the wall surface under control it was perfect white Matt. Good value for money as it did walls and ceiling with 9/10ths of the tub so I have enough for a whole house!

I wouldnt, it wipe off super easily, its made for walls and ceilings and not to go over gloss, youll need another gloss paint or satinwood

The supplier has advised the following for the Johnstone's Brilliant White Matt Emulsion 10L:
As with any project preparation is key, without undertaking any form of preparation the coating will not fully bond to a gloss finish.
It will require sanding and potentially a bonding primer to achieve a suitable level of adhesion.
Without this it will fail relatively quickly.

No way. It is not Vinyl Matt as in the description. It is very thin standard emulsion. Terrible paint. After 4 coats over a light magnolia wall, the old colour still could be seen, it was really patchy. It is basically like painting with skimmed milk
Took 9.5 litres of the 10 litre tub to the recycling centre. Complained to Argos for claiming it was a vinyl paint and wanted my money back (obviouly never heard from them). Then bought Dulux Trade Vinyl Matt for double the price. Two coats and the deep matt white finish was amazing. To ge what you pay for with paint but THIS IS NOT VINYL MATT. IT IS APPALLING. AVOID AVOID AVOID. You have been warned

Yes, it would be suitable but, you may have to thin the paint down a little as it could clog the nozzle of your sprayer.

Vinyl matt is harder wearing has a resin added, so finish will have a slight sheen, whereas matt is dead flat.
