Great train but needs extra track
Bought this as a joint present for my husband and young son. They loved building it together and the controls are so simple my son can easily drive it even though he's only 5. I bought the extra track box too and I would say that was necessary to get any decent play

Well worth it!
We bought this lego train set as a christmas present and it didn't dissappoint. Very pleased with it. We did end up purchasing more track, and running it round the lounge. Great as a starting set though since it includes all the 'power up' essentials to get the train running. Oh and get some shares in a battery company, you'll need plenty of them!

Best Recent Passenger Train but improve electrics
This train set is the best passenger train in recent years, mainly because it uses bricks to build the train and avoids a single-piece front end. The bricks are more versatile for reuse in different models. So good that I bought 4 of this set. The set is ripe for adding another as the other end of the train, making 6 cars, but that is more difficult to operate because the second motor would be the other way round so it would need to run in reverse at the same time. Using the other port on the second hub, one could press both buttons on the handset together, having rotated the dial 180 degrees (great feature), but what we really want is the ability to run two motors from one port or to run two motors in opposite directions from one command with the handset, without using a phone. That was easier with the previous Power Functions system. Please make the electrics more versatile, perhaps add a 2-port lead with reverse option switch for one of the ports, so we can drive "simple" motors like that. The lead could look like a train motor as its ID (pins 3-6) and just reverse the motor connections on pins 1&2. Without that versatility, people turn to 3rd-party products and you lose market share. The same goes for needing a LiPo battery for the hub. Power Functions had the 8878 LiPo battery but Powered-Up is back to unsustainable cells. So a great train set but an electric system that needs improving.

i bought this around 4 weeks ago as a treat for my son who has thoroughly enjoyed playing with it. it is very easy to assemble and has oodles of fun whilst doing so. A great set !

Humidifier
Very happy with the Humidifier- My maisonette has dried out a treat. Now the humidity is a lot lower from 62% to 49%, my heating system is working so much more economical. Heat transfer is better with lower humidity. As I am on a smart meter I can see my usage. Before the humidifier I was averaging over £5 a day (elec & gas) and now it's under £4 a day. It's certainly going to pay for itself and NO damp. I ordered on a same day collection - given a time of 4.00pm I think I had the email saying that it was ready to collect at 3.50pm - excellent service.

Great features
I bought this for my son for Christmas. He absolutely loved it. Luckily we bought extra track separately, as the train along with it's carriges is large, and the track that comes with this isn't enough. Easy to follow. Fun to play with after building.
