Glad I changed to Action 5. No more GoPro for me
I bought this to film two concerts a few months ago. I've used GoPros in the past but have had numerous problems with numerous models. So, rather than buying another I looked at some reviews and plumped for the DJI Action 5. I don't reget it for a second. The video quality as good, if not better, than the GoPros. Also, I had to tend to two of the GoPros I also used at the concert numerous times when they stopped filming. In contrast, the Action 5 started going and never stopped. I've used it several times since and have had no problems at all. Thoroughly recommended for indoor or outdoor, daylight or night time shooting. I did find that giving the power button a number of uses, depending on how long you held it down, to be a bit of a pain, but GoPros do this too so it's only a minor quibble. The sound seems to be ok, but I tend to use separate external mics so haven't really needed to look at the sound too much. An all-round great little camera that does the job very well.

easy to use
So far has been quite easy to use. I've been using it to record cycle commutes as a safety camera and reviewing the footage on the android app. The app works fine for basic editing but takes a lot of space on my phone.

DJO Osmo Actio 5 Pro
I bought this for work, but setting it up was almost impossible. The device allows five times before you are locked out, and the DJI app can only be used on a phone. I did download that to a suitable Android phone, but it still did not work. After a while I trcked the device through the mobile by asking it to download. And that did active the device. I would not use the app on a mobile, as I need a large PC screen to edit the videos. Buy this if you are a technical wizard, but if not, see if there is something esle or ask a very young person to set it up.

Had it for a few months specifically for use on a motorcycle, fantastic stabilization and noise cancelling on this. Slow mode is fantastic. Best action cam so far.

Amazing camera!
Bought this to replace a pretty new GoPro Hero 13 black… that kept overheating and was really buggy, but GoPro didn’t want to know! So glad I got the DJI it’s miles ahead in terms of quality, usability etc. love it!

The camera is able to take photos. The camera can't be connected directly to a phone. Connect the camera to DJI Mimo, photos and videos can then be viewed and downloaded.
