A simple to use and set up power bar
With seasonal celebrations starting in November I need to control various lights automatically and monitor energy usage. This Tapo power bar via the Tapo app helps me to automatically control lights when they go on and go off with ease. Very happy with the power bar.

Make life easier
I bought this to set timers for hall and out side light display and it works wonderfully well . So easy to set up , I have other smart plug of this make and I must say how easy it makes life , especially at Christmas when we use alot of lights

Perfect Scheduling
I have a multitude of garden lights and water feature which I needed to have on for different periods. This was small.enough to house in the outdoor box and allow room to have 4 separate plugs The ability to switch on and off in the app, along with setting separate schedules is perfect. Especially as the change BST is automatic too.

Functions Well
Have a few of these now. Their Kasa brand do one with 3 sockets and 2 usb but as noone needs usb on every power strip I've started using these also as the extra socket is preferable to idle usb outlets and can be put to better use. I expected this product to be solid since I already have many from their sister brand and I wasn't disappointed.

4 socket no USB what I wanted
I bought the 4 socket version instead of the 3 and 2 USB because I needed that extra socket. I have used this product before but this is the first time with 4 sockets. It works great with amazon alexa and Google home. Easy to use and install. Would buy again and recommend.

Excellent Smart Extension Lead
This is my second purchase of a Smart Extension Lead from TP Link. My first only had 3 sockets hence I made this second purchase. Set-up was very easy, and connecting each individual device was a lot easier compared to before. I also downloaded the Tapo app which now controls both this new and even the old extension lead. Can’t fault this brand.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Tapo P304M Smart Plug Power Strip- Energy Usage Monitoring: The Tapo P304M is an indoor smart power strip with four sockets and a maximum load capacity of 3250W (13A). Fairy lights typically have a very low power consumption, so plugging three sets into the P304M should be well within its capacity, provided the total combined load does not exceed 3250W. Please ensure that your extension lead and all connected devices are in good condition and that you do not exceed the rated capacity of either the extension lead or the Tapo P304M. This setup should work well for controlling your Christmas and window fairy lights.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for Tapo P304M Smart Plug Power Strip- Energy Usage Monitoring.
P304M and KP303 can only connect to 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and do not support 5GHz.

Yes, of course you can. Care should always be taken with extension sockets, especially if they are connected to high-power appliances eg. kettles, toasters, vacuum cleaners, but this is no different with this Tapo extension lead.

For safety reasons, it is not suggested to connect a power strip to a smart plug. It is not recommended to connect the smart plug to a power strip as well.

The meanings of the LEDs cannot be changed. To turn off the device's LED light, you can go to the Tapo app, press the plug icon, then tap Settings in the top right corner of the screen. Find the LED Status and turn it off.
