Crikey! We didn't think our carpet was that bad - can't believe what this pulled out. I'm sure the carpet is almost a different colour. So much better than our previous alternative make cleaner. Much lighter, and you can feel the suction kick in. Love the smell of the cleaning fluids too and the stain striker is amazing. My only little grip is the size of the water containers but I'll take the hit on that for the cleaning.

AMAZING

Deep cleaning
I have been finally wet cleaning my carpets after 14 years of use, including the last 6 years with two indoor cats. The amount of hair that has been removed nearly blocked the toilet. That only proves that the suction was good. I had to change the water at least 6 times. I am generally pleased with my first usage. Not too convinced about the stain striker option. This extra feature was more in the way than helping. Maybe it is just me... I have chosen the hot day to do the cleaning, so the drying time was short. I did not have any problems with maneuvering on the bigger open surface, haven't worked out yet all the additional tools to deal with the narrow spaces.

Waste of money
Absolute joke hoover for 300 quid and i managed to do half of my carpet and it just decidede to not dispense solution at all. Followed all troubleshooting clean every part that was mentioned to wash. Im returning it tomorrow and that will be my first and last Shark purchase. My old Vax could go through everything and it was 90 quid will be going back to Vax.

Fits perfectly into a small area and cleans well
This carpet shampooer is small in size, so can be stored easily, it cleans really well and the dirty liquid suction is good, the shampooer is also easily cleaned , coming apart and replacing parts easily, there doesn't appear to be any clogging so far with hair removal in with the suction, with no smells left and great stain removal I recommend this device

I’ve only used twice - makes a great vacuum cleaner but over bulky and difficult to use It basically squirts water that is then vacuumed up - but try using the hand held device and it doesn’t really work on the stairs - it cant suck unless it’s nearby the actual vac so you have to hold vac at same time. Most of the stains remain but faded. I wouldn’t but it again I’d just pay someone to do it once a year with a better machine
