Brilliant, I have had so many carpet cleaners and none of them have compared to this cleaner. Comes with very good and clear instructions, and the clean up at the end that I use to dread was fantastic. the foot of the cleaner easy dismantles and easily went back together. two minuet clean up at the end.

The shark carpet cleaner did an excellent job on bedroom carpet when dry the carpet was fluffy again where as beforehand the carpet was flattened where walked on, also clean now and smells nice.

Fire hazard
As another reviewer has said the machine sets the fire alarm off. Although the machine has been cleaned thoroughly and I use the recommended fluids, on the 5th January 2026 it made the most horrendous noise from the motor and started to smell strongly like it was about to catch fire. I quickly disconnected It from the electric. It's left black marks on the carpet I was trying to clean. It isn't regularly used so it doesn't make sense.

my carpetXpert started smoking and setting my fire alarms off so had to put it outside only got it on the 05/01/2025 i never thought they did not last that long for hardly being use.

Easy to use, easy to clean & amazing results!
I took delivery of my new Shark CarpetXpert HairPro Pet a couple of days ago & couldn’t wait to use it. It was so easy to learn how & get cleaning just from the Quick Guide but there are videos as well. I was amazed by how much dirt & pet hair it removed from my rugs. The dirty water tank needs emptying quite frequently but that’s a small price to pay when it cleans so well. The cleaning solution is so good too - smells really nice & the cleaning power was obvious from the first swipe. I was so impressed with how easy it was to remove and clean the components of the machine after use too. You would barely know it had been used! So much better than other brands I’ve previously used that have got clogged with hair and muck. I highly recommend this cleaner. I have 2 short haired dogs & had no idea there was that much hair caught in the carpets/rugs still even after vacuuming! Seriously impressed!
