Unreliable
This is the 4th one now. Originally purchased, then with 6 months after using 3 times the suction wouldn’t work. Went through all the trouble shooting and then again over the phone. I received a replacement and the same has happened to the other 2. It shouldn’t be such an epic when you want to clean your carpets. I purchased this and paid a lot more than other brands thinking it would be reliable, as I have a dog and like to keep my carpets fresh and clean. It’s just becoming a nightmare each time I come to use it and conflicting emails when I’ve had issues.

Impressive cleaning performance and great results
I couldn't be happier with the Shark CarpetXpert HairPro Pet Deep Carpet Cleaner. The suction power is outstanding, lifting embedded dirt, tough stains, and stubborn pet hair out of the carpet fibres with minimal effort. It deep cleans thoroughly without leaving carpets soaking wet, so drying time is surprisingly fast. It handles pet messes, high-traffic areas, and general grime effortlessly. Powerful, effective, and easy to use—definitely a 5-star product if you want refreshed, spotless carpets.

Best carpet cleaner on the market in my opinion
Very happy with this product so easy to use works just as it should the amount of pet hair it brought up even after hoover is astounding. If you think your carpets are clean try this ex300uk you will soon realise they are definitely not clean. I received it and spilt coffee the same on my carpet this got it out with ease. The dry only mode leaves the carpet as good as dry and brings the pile back. The suction and deep cleaning is 10/10 for me. Definitely recommend also has spot cleaner for sofas stairs comes with 5 different attachments. Buy it now it will 100% be worth it

Easy to use and clean
I bought this one to replace my previous one and it is a massive enhancement. I could not believe the dirt and dust that came out of the carpets. I love the new fluff collector. It works very well. I highly recommend. It’s been round the family already!

Brilliant carpet cleaner
Bought the pet version of this shark carpet cleaner due to fluffy golden retriever. I’ve never used a carpet cleaner before & I’m very impressed & somewhat ashamed of how filthy my carpets were despite annual professional cleaning. The cleaner is very easy to assemble & use & soooo satisfying to see the dirty water getting slurped out of the carpets. The dry only setting is a game changer & left my carpets only slightly damp - totally dry in a couple of hours. Brilliant accessories including the one to clear up ‘accidents’ but save them getting sucked through the cleaner’s pipes! Very impressed with the way the cleaner automatically swaps from cleaning with the main machine to cleaning with the hose & attachments. Then there’s the self wash cycle for cleaning out the pipe once hose once the carpets are done - genius. So easy to do. I would highly recommend this carpet cleaner - excellent value

Would definitely recommend
Great purchase, suctions brilliant and didn’t leave our carpets soaked. The products provided with it smell impeccable. It struggled a little on some of the older lived in stains on our cream carpet but brought out loads that I thought it probably wouldn’t shift. A little heavy to manoeuvre.

5 star cleaning equipment
Love my carpet cleaner! It works so well and is very powerful. I was torn between other shark carpet cleaners but the self clean feature this one has sold me. It’s gotten rid of stains in my wool carpet that have been there for months, my ex carpet cleaner (another brand that rhymes with wax) couldn’t get rid of. I am a shark/ninjas fan through and through! I have many of the products and will continue to be a loyal customer. They treat their customers 5 star ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ care.

Shark CarpetXpert HairPro Pet Corded Carpet Cleaner. The item model number is EX300UK.
Hello Bern,
Shark CarpetXpert HairPro Pet Corded Carpet Cleaner.
The item model number is EX300UK.
Thanks for using Q&A.
Yes, CarpetXpert is easy to clean after use. You can use a paper towel to remove hair and debris from behind the brush roll and inner cover. Clean the clear outer cover with a little water, shake, and rinse. Reattach by hooking the bottom tabs first, then press until it clicks. Empty dirty water into a drain and place hair and debris from the hair cage in a rubbish bin to help prevent blockages.
We don't recommend deep cleaning delicate rugs such as wool, as they can be sensitive to carpet-cleaning equipment. If your wool carpet lacks the manufacturer’s care label or has specific cleaning restrictions, using the CarpetXpert is not advised.
Add Shark Deep Clean Pet up to the CONCENTRATE fill line.
The Shark's strong suction guarantees a quick drying process, revitalising carpets and effectively removing odours. We suggest activating Quick Dry mode post-cleaning to minimise drying time and using any available air conditioning units or fans to enhance air circulation in the space.
