Customers Say
Powerful suction and effective cleaning on various floor types, especially pet hair. Auto-detect is useful but struggles on thick carpets. Cord is stiff, prone to damage, and heavy design noted.

Amazing
So powerful best hoover I have owned so far. The carpets feel like new after being hoovered and lots of dust removed

Another impressive Shark
This new Shark vacuum replaced our old Shark vacuum. Even more impressed than before Easy to use, great cleaning, only very slight ‘moan’ could do with a little more lead from plug to vacuum

The best suction by far
Right I have both this and the Sebo Felix ( the suction on this is better ( I didn’t think I would be saying this but I prefer this for ease of use and it switches between floors fast the shark detection is amazing ( I have a dog that sheds like you wouldn’t believe and the shark is definitely better for this than the sebo. ( the filtration is adequate and obviously doesn’t compare to the sebo ( but for a bagless it’s the best I have ever owned)

Fab Hoover carpet looks new
Fab Hoover carpet looks new. Does have a bit of a pull on it when you use it and it drives forward and it’s quite loud but my carpets came up a treat and the smell filter has an also great.

Incredibly Powerful - Almost Too Powerful!
A very powerful vacuum and one of the best I've ever owned. The reviews aren't being dramatic, it literally pulled me across the room! It's certainly not a vacuum for the elderly or anyone who struggles with stronger machines, it is a heavier device compared to previous models. The suction is incredibly powerful. I have a thick-pile carpet in one room, and it does struggle on this unless I move the vacuum quite quickly. Previous Shark models had a manual suction slider that allowed you to reduce the suction, whereas this one uses automatic adjustment. Unfortunately, it doesn't reduce the suction enough for thicker carpets. This is the only downside; everything else is excellent, and I'm still very pleased with it. I've had no issues with the cable so far, although I am careful when winding it away to help prevent the damage mentioned in some other reviews. The dust bin has a generous capacity. With a dog in the house and vacuuming every other day, I only need to empty it about once every two weeks. It compacts the dirt well, the scented filter is a nice touch, and it's very easy to empty, clean and wash the filters. The rubber end on the hose doesn't leave marks on skirting boards, and the duster kit is well worth buying for the extra tools, especially if you want to clean your car. Overall, I'd highly recommend it. Despite the issue with very thick carpets, it's an excellent vacuum and I'm glad I bought it.

Brillant vacuum
Agree with previous comments, good powerful at home vacuum but the cord needs to be improved. The cord is quite difficult to move and isn’t very flexible. I know there is the option to have cordless but I prefer for the downstairs to have a corded vacuum and this one does have a decent capacity and doesn’t need emptying often.

Best I’ve ever used
Having had cordless vacuums for the last 25 years we made the decision to go back to corded when our wooden floors started to feel gritty and we knew the cordless ones just weren’t powerful enough. Still getting used to dealing with the cord but it’s worth it as the floors, wooden and carpeted, feel super clean. The tools are easy to use at the touch of a button. I’d definitely recommend.

Excellent product
First time buying a shark. Very sceptical before use but could not belive how powerful it was on all floor type. Unbelievable suction. Also the edge suction was amazing extra power when needed. The lift off hoover section for stairs os a real bonus, along with the suction tool , stairs have never been so clean. Have bought other name hoovers before, not as good. Overall very please with the productt, Would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Shark Power Detect Powered Lift-Away hoover
A really nice powerful hoover, which adjusts to whichever floor type that you are cleaning!

Cleans great, but auto Detect feature is useless
We were excited to use this after our old shark stopped working. The clean on it was great. So much dust came out of the carpets vs the old one. However… this can only be used in each manual mode otherwise the red lights come on and the brush stops spinning. You have to power cycle the unit every time. If we leave Detect mode on… it will stop within seconds on our old low pile carpet. We must use the high pile setting for it to work. It can also switch off with the red lights if it gets to the edge of a carpet. Hugely annoying. The same happens going from hard floor onto the carpet if you’re not quick enough to switch it over. In short… great clean and nice vacuum but the technology is a terrible addition and makes me regret purchasing.

Yes, the Motorised Pet Tool (Pet Power Brush) does come as standard.
This vacuum comes equipped with anti-hair wrap technology.
Hi Brown, it's 600W and the motor wattage is 750W.
