Excellent performance. Poor cable

I bought this as it had lots of decent reviews. It is sturdy and powerful. I does a very good job of sorting out every surface. The only issue I have with it is the cable. It's to hard. It's not very flexible and as the machine is so powerful if you run over it and don't respond quick enough it will chew the cable. I have insulation tape all over mine. The cable is a massive let down.

Great but no spares available

Great product, best vacuum ever bought. A tad heavy but the big issue….. can’t get spare filters been waiting over six mouths for web site to show stock and the felt pads now disintegrated with the washing

Great vacuum cleaner !!!

Very effective vacuum cleaner with a powerful suction.. the dirtdetect option is nice ad floordetect option makes the vacuum cleaner propel on its own.. the anti hair tangle option is simply awesome !!! It's bit on the heavier side, but its great work cleaning the floor overshadows it's weight !! The wire could have been more flexible and would have been good to get a bit bigger dust container. The filters before the mIn motor could be made more effective in terms of creating a tight seal.

Powerful suction

Bought this as my cordless hoover was rubbish at picking up. This is so different, it picks up everything! The only downside is it's heavy when the suction really kicks in and quite difficult to maneuver.

New Hoover

Checked online for a new hoover, always been a fan of a different brand but thought I would take a chance as the reviews looked promising & good. Well, I was so so surprised at how dirty my carpets were. The suction is second to none. It’s a little too heavy but honestly I’m so pleased with it. My only little niggle is the tank capacity could do with being bigger. I have to empty it 2-3times per hoover. I have 2 large hairy dogs. It’s the Perfect hoover for me. I love the power it has and I love how easy it is to use when using it on the stairs and hard floors.

A Dyson convert!

We've had a ball Dyson upright vacuum for over 20 years, and we realised that it had eventually come to the end of its life. Having spent a long time researching which is better, a Shark or a Dyson upright vacuum cleaner - I actually bought a Dyson. However, due to a system failure at Dyson, they failed to deliver the product - having stayed at home for the day waiting for it! As a result, I reviewed the Shark again and thought I'd give it a go - well, what a surprise it's been. We're very impressed. There is only one thing that I think could be improved, and that's the mains cable flex - it's really way too stiff. I've actually looked into whether I could swap over the flex from the Dyson, but it's not possible unfortunately 😒

Fantastic vacuum cleaner

This is by far the best most powerful well designed vacuum cleaner we have ever used. Some reviews I read mentioned the electrical cord is too rigid. I actually find the cord perfect as it is easy to handle and doesn’t just drop to the floor to get snagged in the rollers. It’s easy to push and lift up. All in all a brilliant product which I highly recommend.
