Love that it’s cordless and reasonable easy to use. However trying to put the attachments on halfway through the contents started to drop back out. I’m not getting a good suction with the attachments but it might be iv3 not mastered it yet

Excellent.
In summary, it’s very good. I accept that it’s only a vacuum cleaner so doesn’t make me a different person, but Shark don’t pretend a small household appliance is going to change your life (unlike some other brands 😉). The stand that automatically gobbles up the dirt is very useful and makes the cleaner so much more practical than other models. The vacuum itself is easy to move around and has a great level of suck, and the lights telling you when your house is extra dirty are both entertaining and informative. Like I say, my life has not (yet?!) changed, but I’m impressed because it’s very portable, powerful and practical.

Great suction
I replaced my dyson with this and overall am really happy. I wouldnt be without the auto empty now, 4 girls with long hair and it never gets tangled. Down sides the auto detect is a bit delayed so youve passed the edges soon after it increases the power. The pick up from the front leaves quite a big gap so when going forwards on to skirtings and sofas it doesnt pick up close enough, its not always possible to get the angle to vac side on particularly on stairs. Also the wand bending to get under beds is great but it doesnt reach to the back of a single bed and the hand unit itself is large preventing it going close enough to the floor to reach with the back edge with the wand straight.

So much better than our old vacuum
So easy to use and always ready. Just so handy to pick up those small bits I have just dropped on the floor. No unrolling/rolling of cable. Then dump it back and it empties itself. Powerful suction. It just works .

Easy and effective straight out of the box
From out of the box, the Shark PowerDetect was easy to use and very effective. I have a variety of flooring types and it dealt with all of them easily; picking up all the dust and fibres that previous vacuums have struggled with. I particularly like the auto-empty function, so I’m not endlessly emptying the chamber with the accompanying cloud of dust.

Best cordless vacuum we have ever owned
Bought this for my wife as our old shark hoover had served its time well, we had it for over 5 years. The new technology in this is quite impressive, my wife just loves it. The LED lights are in a better position than the older models so it really shows the dust from a distance, the lights are also brighter which makes them useful even in full daylight which the previous model lacked. Other operations like the detachable handheld and foldable/bendable wand is just awesome. The auto empty feature is also great, my wife was amazed she said “this is what I wanted you to do every time I used the hoover” 🤣 I think it will extend the life of the vacuum as well because there will be less build up in the hose and dust collector. Overall I’d give it a 9.7/10 the only reason I didn’t give it 10/10 is because sometimes when using the nozzle attachment on the handheld part it blows away some of the dust rather than sucking it in, strange phenomenon but doesn’t cause any issues.

Good investment
Very impressed so far. Cleans well, switches automatically from carpet to hard floors and adjusts power depending on requirements. Fairly light and easy to use. Love the auto empty function. Only downside is there is only storage for 1 of the 3 tools supplied.

Empty the dock dust bin when the dust bin full indicator light comes on. To remove the bin, lift it out by the handle. To empty the bin, hold it over the trash and press the release button on the side. The bottom will open to release the debris.
