Brilliant!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used to have a Stratos Anti Hair Wrap model but from 31st October when I received this Shark powerdetect cordless pet vacuum cleaner everything has changed.After I used the new one for the last 6 days, I have been very pleased with it. It feels lighter, much more easily to manoeuvre, the suction is great-I can get anywhere trouble free, the light is brighter and I can see every little hair from my dog. We have a Golden Retriever which means we need a good hoover to be able to keep our house clean and this model definitely does the job. Would highly recommend!

Battery poor
The vacuum itself is very good but the battery life seems very poor. It does not last long. Tried to buy a spare from the website but none in stock. I registered to be notified when back in stock a month later still nothing. How can a supplier have no stock for so long.

Shark PowerDetect Cordless pet Vacuum Cleaner
This is my second cordless vac and it is vey powerful and excellent for all my floors. The only problem I find is that using the attachments that are provided I find the unit is heavy to use because of the weight of the battery.

Worth the change from my previous one.
After trying several vacuum cleaners over the years, the Shark Upright Vacuum has genuinely impressed me — it’s a real step up, even compared to my previous Dyson. Right away, the suction power stands out. The Shark has noticeably more suction than the Dyson, and you can see (and feel) the difference in how much dirt it pulls out. My carpets actually feel fuller and fresher again, almost like they’ve had a deep clean rather than just a surface tidy-up. One of my favourite features is the illuminated cleaning head. The built-in light shows exactly where the dirt is — which is both brilliant and slightly addictive. I find myself chasing every last speck until the beam shines completely white! It also handles hair brilliantly. My wife’s long hair has always been a challenge for vacuums, but this is the only one that’s managed to pick it all up without clogging or wrapping around the brush. The battery life is excellent too, lasting long enough for a full clean of the house without needing a recharge. Overall, the Shark Upright Vacuum easily outperforms my old Dyson in suction, cleaning power, and practicality. It’s powerful, easy to use, and leaves carpets looking (and feeling) like new — definitely worth the upgrade.

Great cleaning
So well taking care of hair from a moulting German Shepherd dog, and great not to have to scrape hair off the brush, the hair-wrap feature works well. Tools are functional, coped with car pet hair well. Would be great to have a fine suction nozzle to get into tight spaces in the car, otherwise great.

Lots of positives but not Pawfect
Lots to like. Powerful manoeuvrable light easy to put together. Battery/charger not too big. Negatives - filter to waste container fills fast and blocks long before waste container filled up. Means emptying more frequently which a bother. Purchased as a pet model so would expect it to cope with pet fur and not block so quick
