Nice spare bed
Been using this for a few weeks now , it's firm but comfortable and a good size and thickness, easy to fold up and can be used as a seat , there is a slight chemical smell but nothing to put you off this bed , reason for a 4 star is the fabric could have been softer but it's obvious like this for durability. Overall a very good bed.

Compact and fit for purpose
Genuinely surprised by how comfortable it was given thickness. Very useful how it folds away for storage. Would definitely recommend airing it for a while before use if your sensitive to smell of memory foam.

Massively overpriced and uncomfortable
I think I had a senior moment when I bought this, because for what it is the price is insane! I was just struggling to find something that would fit the very limited space. It’s also very disappointing how hard it is. We bought a double for the van a while back and had assumed this would be the same level of comfort, but it’s much harder and not at all comfortable.

I suppose it could be used on a single bed, but more like a mattress topper, not a mattress, and using it every night, I doubt it will last very long. It is just foam, and ideally made for guest/short term use really. But I suppose you could try this on a bed if you wish? Long term though, I'd probably think about investing in a proper mattress.

We do advise to allow up to 2 weeks for any odour from the material used on the Kaikoo Single Mattress Cube - Flint Grey, however you do have 30 days to return the item if you're not happy with the product, though this must be unused and in the original packaging.

The width of the sleeping area is 66cm which is smaller than a standard single mattress (90cm) so this would not be suitable as it may be unsteady.

Not sure if single mattress would fit but if it does, then I would say yes it would probably be OK. I put on a thicker quilt to lie on if I'm using it for overnight to make it comfier.
