About this product
The Tower TSM12 12-in-1 Corded Steam Cleaner is built to handle a proper range of cleaning jobs around the house. It heats up in about a minute and gives you around half an hour of continuous steam per tank. The water tank is simple to refill, and the long cord means you're not constantly switching sockets between rooms.
What sets it apart is how it converts into a handheld steamer, so you're not limited to floors. You can use it on upholstery, worktops or grouting, and it comes with a carpet glider for rugs and carpets. The steam flow is variable and trigger-activated, so you control exactly when it releases. It works on sealed wood, tile and laminate floors. You get a measuring jug, microfibre cloth pad, carpet glider, wall holder, big round brush, small round brush, long brush, and an angled nozzle. It's light enough to move around without hassle, and the wall holder keeps it tucked away when you're done.

Good product for the price, but far from perfect.
Bought this to replace a VAX steam cleaner which had served me well, but which I found it difficult to gets parts for. The Tower TSM12 plus points: - creates steam quickly; - good water tank capacity; - you can select the level of steam that is produced; - floors seem to dry more quickly than was the case with my old VAX unit; and - comes with most of the tools you need. Negative points: - the power cord is only 3m long so you may find that you need to plug in at a number of sockets to get the coverage you need in medium to larger sized rooms; - the main water tank is incorporated into the handle, making the machine a little unwieldy at times; - it does not respond to the request for steam (via a button) as quickly as it should; - when not holding the machine, it will not stand upright on its base. You need to lay flat on the floor or lean it against something; - you only get one microfibre pad with the machine - extra pads are not available on the Tower website (or any other parts for that matter). Luckily, the VAX pads are similarly sized and I can use those on the Tower machine; and - build quality is just about acceptable. Overall, the Tower TSM12 does what you need it to at a fair price.

The product should come with a carpet glider and smaller nozzles that can be used on furniture.''
