SAMSUNG Series 7 DW60CG550FWQ Dishwasher - White

Do NOT buy this Dishwasher.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This machine arrived on the 1st May 2026.It is now 16th June 2026. I have no confidence in at all. The illuminated hieroglyphs on the panel are a mystery to me and they are not explained in the handbook. Don't bother looking online for help because there are so many versions of Samsung dishwasher that not even AI can tell the difference. Even with the model number and serial number the wrong instructions show up. Other owners have already highlighted the stains left on glassware and how large glasses do not fit on the top rack without removing the cutlery tray. Fourteen Place settings? In your dreams. It does not like 11 inch dinner plates. Large pasta dishes? Forget about it. Stack large plates on the far right or left of the bottom rack and when you close the door listen to them falling about inside. I now very often do two washes whereas my old Indesit did a better job of more utensils and crockery with just one wash. The rear plate tines on the lower shelf fall over and rarely support the crockery. Be careful with long handled pans as the rack allows handle to drop through and trap the paddle thereby preventing proper cleaning. I think a lot of the issues stem from the third [top] paddle. The one that is supposed to wash the cutlery tray. All the paddles are driven by water pressure only and my guess is two paddles good, three paddles bad. In short, I hate this machine. I strongly urge you to NOT buy this machine.

Installation was very easy and convenient, and the various options are good. I think it is the best choice.

Nothing sits naturally and some things don't clean well. Never had this issue with other dishwashers over the years.

Disappointed

This dishwasher is a mixed bag really. The washing performance and choice of programs is excellent. The auto door opening feature is good and helps with the drying process. However, there are some major issues, detailed below: The build quality is shockingly (disappointingly so) bad. The panels are made of low quality flimsy steel which compared to other brands is just not acceptable. I suspect if a dog or toddler leans on this it will crumple in on itself. The design choice of having a cutlery tray on the top does limit loading options drastically compared to my old Bosch dishwasher. I now have to make the choice of washing large dishes or tall glasses, but not both, this is immensely frustrating. Therefore the capacity is lower and thus the efficiency will be reduced, as I now have to do two loads in oppose to one.
