I bought this to make bread, so far made bread 3 times, came out great! Bread: 300ml water 1.5 (1 and 1/2) teaspoon salt 3 tablespoons sugar (brown) 3 tablespoons cooking oil 3 cups of flour (mixed half very strong white/half very strong wholemeal) - Alison’s brand 7 grams sachet of yeast (Fast acting) - Alison’s brand Bread machine: Setting no: 3 wholemeal (automatic timer already set) Medium crust Large loaf START.

Excellent Breadmaker for the money
This little low price breadmaker is absolutely superb. It still has 13 settings, most of which I will never use, cooks a brilliant loaf in 3 hours, lovely fluffy tasty bread. Easy to use, Recipe instructions a tad strange re the measurements but not difficult or confusing. Definitely recommend, just as good as the £270 panasonic that has just died after many years of service.

We replaced the old breadmaker by another brand with this one. I like the compact sizing of this one. It fits under a kitchen cabinet on the worktop, which is important for us as we don’t have anywhere else for it. The bread quality is just as good as the old one. There are 2 minor negatives - 1. The outer material feels more plasticky than the last one. 2. They don’t supply measuring cup/spoon like the old one. Overall I am very happy we chose this item.

Excellent little bread maker
Excellent little bread maker, I've had a few different models over the years and a bread maker is something that it's not worth buying cheap. This is a quality build and I love that it is compact but still with a regular sized pan. As soon as the churning starts you can tell the motor is quite powerful and I find it mixes very well - I put over a dozen ingredients in my loaf so this is especially important for me. Every loaf so far has been a success, even using more 'strong' and heavy flours. I would buy this model again and would certainly recommend it for newbies and seasoned bread-maker users alike!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The breadmaker is great for making a fresh loaf of bread at home, I love that you can make so many other things with it too. It comes with a booklet that has many recipes which was super helpful. I presumed it would easy to use, but i found it really difficult the first few times! After that i got the hang of it. It’s such a convenient appliance to own. It is noisy but i used it while i was doing my washing so the noise was masked by other noise.

The Breadmaker can make Gluten Free bread. Please check out the reviews to see how others have found the Breadmaker, as it may be trial and error to get the ingredients and timings right. The recipe showing in the instruction booklet does include eggs.
