I bought this Spectrum Console as a gift for my partner - he says it's the best Xmas gift ever. Things he loves about it - the detail of likeness to the original Spectrum Console (weights added to make it that little bit heavier to represent the original model); it's compact size and the retro games on it already, with the optional input of adding your own games. I thought it was a great price and given how well it was received as a gift, it's been great value for money.

Modern Retro Fun
This is an excellent facsimile of the original spectrum but with a modern twist. It provides built in games, USB sockets for peripherals and adding your own games, and has an HDMI output for TV/Monitor Connectivity. You can choose to use either the modern "Carousel" simple selection for games or the more traditional spectrum loading screen. Even though the Speccy is essentially an Emulator under the hood, It is so perfect a copy of the original with working rubber keyboard keys. Excellent fun for young and old.
