Brilliant piece of kit; a must buy for any home with hard floors! Lightweight & easy to use, steam activation very quick. So easy to clean out afterwards - in my opinion it’s faster than a mop & bucket!

Omg just buy it, don’t read anymore reviews just buy it. As someone with 2 frenchies and a new granddaughter at home . This is probably the best thing I have bought from shark. It makes life so much easier. It’s very liteweight and sweeps and cleans all at the same time.

Wow! Looks good, does a great job, so far excellent product. My only gripe, that I am finding out with the two Shark products that I have recently purchased, is the cable. Not really ‘user friendly’ as they are so very stiff and totally inflexible. Never witnessed this with any other electrical appliance I’ve purchased before. Of course I do not know if there is a valid reason for such quality of cable.

I bought this and used it twice. I used it on laminate flooring, it left my floor streaky and didn’t clean it properly… I didn’t complain to Shark because I had used it. I wouldn’t recommend to it. I have the shark cordless vacuum and steam floor cleaner which work great. Shame about the steam pickup.

Jury's out there
First month or so I thought this product was brilliant. I took the roller out after every use and washed and cleaned it, left it out to dry even put it in the dishwasher to make sure it was cleaned properly, took out the dirty water tank after every use and cleaned along with the lid but it has always had a distinct wet mop smell to it what I have never been able to get rid and feel like im steaming my floor with a mucky mop. Even added a cap of astonish to try and sort the smell but it just doesn't seem to go away. The roller does take ages to try and when you take the machine apart to clean it all properly, it takes longer than cleaning the floor, lots of nooks and crannies which you can struggle to get into to clean. Overall it's a great idea but it just doesn't work for our house hold

Shark Has Done it Again! Amazing!
The Shark SteamPickUp Hard Floor Cleaner SD200UK lived up to everything I had hoped it would! Our floors have never looked so good. We have wood and tiled flooring in the house and the cleaner has honestly made such a difference, the wood floor in particular looks amazing as some areas had very stubborn marks. I would highly recommend this product.

Our SteamPickUp Hard Floor Cleaner is designed to pick up debris, gently scrub, and sanitise as it steams, all in one. Because of the steam function, you might notice the floor slightly damp when finished. However, it won't be soaked or overly wet; simply a light moisture that dries quickly.
While this unit is capable of effectively picking up hair, as well as dirt and debris from the floor, separating wet from dry materials, for the best performance and to minimise hair buildup in the roller, it is recommended to remove hair before starting the cleaning process with the Hard Floor Cleaner.
This unit can be highly effective for cleaning grout lines, as it features three distinct Intelligent Steam Control settings, allowing you to select the optimal steam level for each cleaning task. Yes, the brush roll can be either replaced or washed. For proper maintenance, please follow the instructions below.
1. Take off the nozzle cover by pinching the two tabs together.
2. Remove the debris tank by lifting out the floor nozzle using the handle.
3. Remove the brush roll by pulling upward on the tab until a "click" is heard.
4. Slide the brush roll out horizontally.
5. Rinse all parts with warm water and soap.
6. Leave out to fully dry for 24 hours.
This can be used on any sealed, hard flooring.
