I bought this to replace the equivalent model we had that had stopped working. It cooks ok but we have an issue seeing the display in daylight. We did not have this issue with the previous model. When i collected it from Argos it looked like it had been used as a football around the carpark. Luckily it wasn't a gift and the actual slow cooker was ok. When i tried to report this to Argos i nearly got scammed, so all in all it was a stressful purchase

-DO NOT clean the appliance with metal kitchen utensils, caustic or abrasive cleaning agents or scouring sponges.
-Thoroughly clean the grill plates and
cooking baskets with hot water, some
washing-up liquid and a non-abrasive

No the lights stays on for about 5 mins but you only have to press the light again and it will stay on aprox 5 mins,

There are trays/grill plates inside the drawers, so depending on what has been cooked most of the time just the trays/grill plates can be washed on their own.
